The cabin was perfect for our needs. Loved watching the birds, pelicans and dolphins in the river daily.Did not use the pool. The Galley restaurant on property was great when we didn’t feel like cooking.When washer was acting up, Mike had a repairman out the same day. When it needed to be replaced, he had a new one delivered quickly.

Nice place, great area. Overall recommend this place. Host was great and responsive. Floor was a little dirty, (especially under furniture) and no trash bags or dish soap. We left a lot for the next guests.

First and foremost, this has exceeded my expectations. The space was clean and quiet. The view was better than the pictures hinted, and the property is gated and felt very safe and secure. There is a grocery store nearby, but the store was out of many goods and the hot deli was not as advertised . Luckily there is also a dollar general which works well as a backup grocery store and its only minutes up the road. Overall I'd rate this stay a 5 out of 5! My only complaint would be that our schedule was so crammed that we didnt spend more time there. Will definitely book this property again in the future.

Wife and I absolutely LOVED this place!

It was a short family vacation to Orange Beach where the guys went deep sea fishing and the girls went shopping. The cabin was really nice and looked even better in person. It was a perfect fit for me, my wife, my sister, her husband and their kid. Plenty of things to do in Foley and the drive to Orange Beach wasn’t terrible at all! We’ve got to watch the wildlife on Bon Secour River. I was the only one to go kayaking and it was tons of fun. 10/10! Me and my wife do plan on coming back again sometime next year but make our trip a little bit longer lol

Perfect, Peaceful little houae

We were here for a volleyball tournament. The location was 15 mins away from tournament location and 20 minutes away from the beach. It was a great location for us! It was very peaceful. I enjoyed every morning having my coffee outside while enjoying the animals and scenery around me. My daughter loved being able to soak up the UV rays next to the water. The only thing is I wish we brought a fishing pole. There are plenty of stores around but we just had limited time. Great time and we will definitely come back.

2 month stay

We enjoyed staying at this house on the Bon Secour river. It was a quiet area, but we also had a short distance to go to enjoy the beaches and other towns. Communication was easy with the owner. We would return if had the chance.

Perfect!

Michael was super easy to connect with! House was in a secluded area yet only minutes from outlets, grocery/ walmart, drug store, auto repair (that hopefully you will not need). We seen the dolphins in the early morning, seen much of the wildlife but thankfully no gators. It was the perfect home for a family! Pool was great 3-5 foot deep fenced in so you could still see the river happenings from the pool.

Peaceful Retreat

We have come to love this location. It's a quiet little set up not too far from the beach with a peaceful setting perfect for our small family. The owner is really easy to communicate with and has always been very responsive. If you like relaxing with a cup of coffee, a water view and the sounds of nature. This is a quiet place to enjoy some peace while visiting the area.

Just What Our Family Needed

We loved taking the kayaks out onto the river and fishing from the cabin’s dock. Our family of five had just enough space to enjoy the weekend: My husband and I in the master bedroom, our teenager in the other, and our two younger kids on the pull-out sofa bed. Internet and Wi-Fi gave us no problems and it was very clean inside. Super cozy and exactly what our family needed.

What a great place and host!

Our stay at Mike's condo was great! First, Mike was a pleasure to communicate with and the people in the other units were a pleasure to meet and hang out with. The unit was clean, well-stocked and comfortable. The view is fantastic - with dolphins every night, continual "mullet" fish jumping, ducks, turtles, crab. Bring your fishing rod to catch Red Fish and Speckled Trout right off the dock. Be sure to eat at the Tin Top and get some fresh seafood at the local fishery (the Mahi Mahi was great!) to make on the grill/stove. Note - the Galley restaurant right there is closed for an indefinite period of time - which is out of Mike's control but something to be aware of. We will absolutely be back!
