"Happy with the room aat a fair price and the ease I got their from the station. Everything clean and well kept with the bathroom large with an excellent shower. Just a long walk with a few steps to the 30th & last room, at my age a room easier to get to would have been appreciated, but a minor complaint."

The room was quite hot, even on a cool day, and were it not for the ability to open the window and use a fan (already in the room) it would have been very comfortable. The condition of the room - new and clean - was very good."

"I booked this hotel at very short notice while preparing to travel from the northeast of Scotland to visit a seriously ill family member for what was expected to be a final visit. Unfortunately, on the morning of our planned departure for the 8-hour journey, we received the sad news that our family member had passed away, meaning the trip was no longer required. We contacted the hotel immediately to explain the exceptional circumstances and respectfully requested a refund or goodwill...

"Very good value for money, everything you need is there including WiFi. Some small areas needing attention but nothing serious. Only downside was building works going on in an attached building, loud banging from 6am."

"Very convoluted way to get to the room. Extremely inconvenient stairs if you have luggage. With a slight investment they could make it more convenient by making the corridor of one level."
