Located at Alfani 1, in a historic Florentine building that was once part of the former Ospedale di San Matteo (closed in 1781 and now home to the Accademia delle Belle Arti), this brand-new, stylish apartment blends history and comfort. Set in the heart of Florence’s historic center, the apartment is just a 10-minute walk from the Florence Cathedral, Santa Croce Square, and the Accademia delle Belle Arti, home to Michelangelo’s David. Perfect for families or groups in the heart of Florence.

The Space
The apartment is located on a typical street in the historic center, on the second floor—no elevator—and, thanks to its multiple beds and two bathrooms, it accommodates a variety of needs. Each room offers privacy, making it ideal for small groups of friends and families, as well as couples or solo travelers.

The space consists of a comfortable living room, a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with double beds, and two bathrooms. Air conditioning, a smart TV in each room, Wi-Fi, a dishwasher, and a washing machine.

The cozy living area is equipped with a comfortable sofa bed and a smart TV (from which you can access your Netflix, Prime Video, etc. accounts).

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities you need, including induction cooktops, a range hood, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator/freezer, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a kettle, and a Nespresso coffee machine. A selection of capsules and teas is available.

Both bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning and a comfortable double bed. One of them has an en-suite bathroom. In the other, you can choose to have two single beds.
The two bathrooms feature a shower stall with a showerhead, a hair dryer, a towel warmer, and soap.
Towels, sheets, and blankets are provided.

Self-check-in and self-check-out are available through a very simple process; however, we’ll be happy to welcome you in person whenever possible.

Guests have access to the entire apartment, except for a few lockers that are for staff use only (containing cleaning supplies and spare linens).
