The apartment is located on Via Giraldi, one of the city’s most historic streets, just a short walk from the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria 🏛️, and the Ponte Vecchio 🌉.

A very central and vibrant area, surrounded by elegant shops 🛍️, traditional restaurants 🍝, and historic cafés ☕, where you can experience the authentic Florentine atmosphere.

Things to Note
The apartment is located in a historic building in the heart of Florence, just a short walk from the Duomo. This creates a unique atmosphere, but may involve some aspects typical of historic homes:
Outside noise: The very central location may result in some nighttime noise from the street. To mitigate this, we’ve installed double-glazed windows in the living room.
Wood scent: The original Versailles-style parquet flooring and antique wooden beams may give off a slight natural wood scent. This is not a defect, but an authentic sign of the home’s historic charm—just like in mountain chalets.
Elevator: There are other vacation rentals in the building. To ensure the elevator works properly, you must always close the inner door correctly after use; otherwise, it will not operate.
Loft: The first bedroom is located on the loft above the living room, accessible via a staircase that may be a bit steep for elderly guests or those with limited mobility. There is also a bathroom on the same level.
Non-functional secondary kitchen: In the second room, you’ll find an elegant white marble countertop with custom-made cabinetry, which belongs to the old kitchen (no longer in use).
The fully functional kitchen, on the other hand, is located in the main living room and is equipped with an induction cooktop, a mini-fridge, and everything you need for cooking, as shown in the photos in the listing.
