Todo perfecto

Una estancia perfecta. El barrio muy agradable. Cerca de todos los museos, palazzos, iglesias. Buenos restaurantes, cafeterías, heladerías, tiendas. El piso limpio, cómodo, moderno por dentro. El check-in fácil. La habitación que da a la calle tiene ruido de calle pero es lo que tiene estar en el centro de Florencia. Los otros dormitorios tranquilos.

The location was an amazing ! Right downtown, near shops, pharmacy and stores. The air conditioner worked great and each room can control their own temperature. In general the place was fairly clean and had two bathrooms which is great when there is 3 women staying there. The owners were very responsive and kind. However, the pictures are not accurate as they must have been taken when the apartment was newly decorated. The place needs a good spring cleaning and a new paint job. The couch had an old sheet on top of it. They do not provide you with soap, shampoo or conditioner which is fine but it should be indicated. The walls are paper thin and you hear people in the next room and on the streets. As you can see from the pictures, the walls were marked up and baseboards dirty. On top of not having any body wash or soap and shampoo, the showers have no place for you to put your soap on. The headboards have seen better days. The instructions to get in could be a little better. Example, we were told to press the icons, which should have been push on the doorknobs and they should have specified to press the light switch when entering the hallway. It was pitch black walking up the hallway and up the stairs. Same for taking out the garbage, the instructions were lacking details and left us confused about where to drop them off. It’s not just outside the building….its a street away. Unfortunately I wouldn’t stay there again.

My husband, son and I spent four wonderful nights in Florence. What a magical city! And what a great home base to stay to see it all! Our apartment was clean, air conditioner worked great, and spacious and comfortable to rest our tired legs at the end of the day; had everything we needed. The management office was accommodating, replied swiftly to any questions, and clear with instructions; very easy stay!

Wonderful spacious apartment in close proximity to everything

We had a wonderful stay! Such a cute property! So close to everything! Love that they provided washer pods!! We were able to check in early and make our tour! They provided lots of recommendations! 10 out of 10!!

Fabulous Flo

Our family of six had a lovely stay at this pretty and convenient Florence apartment. It was clean, well appointed and comfortable. Barbara and Liza are so responsive and helpful. Barbara graciously booked taxis for our departure to the train station and quickly answered any questions we had via email. The apartment is spacious and the air conditioning was very welcome during recent record heat in Italy. Stairs are a little challenging with heavy bags, but everything else makes up for that. We had such a nice time.

Family of 6

We traveled as a family of 6- three couples. This was a perfect apartment for us. Very comfortable and neat, great location and easy to get in and out without worrying about who had the keys. Florence is very popular and a bit overcrowded, but this apartment was near Santa Croce, so it was a bit more peaceful.

This was a beautiful apartment. Clean. Welcoming. Our host kept an open communication and was very helpful. Even helped when we had a small hiccup. Would definitely recommend to friends, and would love to visit again!

Great stay and location in Florence

Sweet Home Bargello was a very nice place in a great location. Barbara was very helpful and always responded quickly. The only problem we had was getting in the home using WIFI, as it didn’t work very well inside the hallway to the front door. My only regret was NOT being able to spend more time in Florence.

Expecting more for the price

The location of the appartment and the assistance I got from Barbara were both excellent. The apparmtment itself, however, needs a little TLC. Firstly, the virtual key access to the building was never needed because the front door remained unlocked throughout our entire stay. The unit lacked the very basic nesessities for a family of 5 staying 4 nights (i.e, only 3 rolls of toilet paper, kitchen napkins, no broom, no clothes drying rack to dry clothes). On arrival, no snacks nor bottled water was provided (just one bottle of tap water was in the fridge. Liquid soap was provided but without facecloths (!). Kitchen faucet aerator sprays water all over the kitchen counter. Knobs missing on the main bedroom dresser (so we could not use 2 drawers of the dresser) Very noisy courtyard for the second bedroom in the corner (whirring noise from the air conditioning compressor, noise coming from the neighbours) because the wooden doors accessing the courtyard are not soudproof. Mirror in the second bathroom was broken. We felt we didn't get our value for the 500 €/night we paid considering that we spent the previous 4 weeks in various other rentals in Rome, Montepulciano, Montalcino, and Venice, that far exceeded our expectations. Our communication with Barbara was great, but it was our impression that dealing with a rental agency (we didn't meet the owners) makes the experience colder and more impersonal. This is after all Florence.....and we expected more for the price.

Cozy Florence apartment

Overall we loved our stay at this apartment. The owners were amazing in terms of communication and helping us find luggage storage when we arrived early. The apartment was lovely and clean and the beds were comfortable. And the location was great for all of the things we were doing and we felt safe/secure, etc. I was able to do laundry though i would suggest to have in the instruction binder some english translation for how to operate as it was hard to tell what setting to use - i figured it out but just something that would be helpful. There is only one thing that affected my daughter staying in the back room that shares a wall with what i think is the inner part of the building that opens up to other neighbors. there was perhaps a family that lives there and they were very noisy until midnight every night of our stay, and she could hear it in her room - she did put in headphones and she was able to sleep at least. There are 3 bedrooms with great beds and one pullout couch in the main open area!

We made Barbara’s rental our home base. We were able to rent a car, only because she has access to parking right across the street. It’s super convenient. The property had everything it says and more. The location is perfect.

Perfect Florence stay

We had an amazing stay in Florence. The location was perfect and easy to walk to all sites. The AC kept us cool and the beds were comfortable. The host was easy to communicate with and helped with all our needs! Would recommend this stay!

Perfect location, very accommodating hosts. Spacious bed rooms

Everything went smoothly and as expected. Barbara and Lisa were very helpful and made great recommendations. The bedrooms were spacious especially by European standards. Showers are little but updated and good water pressure. Perfect location and the Vikey app is great so can access apartment using phone. Took a day trip w Andrea and cooking class both which we loved
