Excelente atención y servicio

Hemos disfrutado de la hospitalidad de Marusca, un ser maravilloso, que nos colmó de atenciones y cuidado. La propiedad ubicada en un lugar inmejorable y con una vista excelente, mantenía limpieza y gusto por la decoración. Hemos trabajado en un ámbito iluminado en la que todo funcionaba. Recomiendo el lugar y fundamentalmente la atención de Marusca.

This is a truly top shelf vacation rental. Excellent communication, easy check in and out. The apartment is beautiful, serviceable, clean, conveniently located and well equipped. The view is a Florentine dream. Could not have been better. We have stayed in rentals across Europe and North America and this was one of the best. Highly recommend.

Apartment was very nice. However, there were 57 steps up to get up to the apartment and the location was a bit farther from things than we had hoped. Also, the apartment is across from a bridge that is under construction and there was a lot of machinery noise beginning at 2am one of our nights!

Great location. Stairs were difficult to negotiate with luggage. Property was very clean and organized. Chairs in dining room were not comfortable to sit in and the couch and armchair were not very comfortable.

Fabulous Florence!

This was the second stop on our two week Italy trip, celebrating our youngest son’s college graduation. We wanted a place that would allow us to walk everywhere as we did not rent a car ( we travelled by train). The River View apartment was perfect! It was super clean and though it was alongside the river in the middle of Florence, it was very quiet! From the apartment we could be at the Duomo in about 12 minutes. It close enough to the train station that we walked from the station, and then back when it was time to leave. We enjoyed the little cafe right downstairs in the morning for croissants, and the best gelato in town was just down the street! We highly recommend the apartment to anyone looking for a “base of operations “ to discover Florence from! The kitchen was very well appointed with appliances, a coffeemaker and coffee, tea, and spices in the cabinets. Our host even left a bag of cookies for us!

Wonderful stay!

Stayed at the property with my family and overall we had a wonderful time. Great location and easy to access the city while also providing some more local cafes and restaurants nearby. Apt was very clean and comfortable. 5 star stay!

Check in was a bit rough to tell the truth, because of mistakes from both Maruska and myself miscommunication. Maruska went out of her way to accomodate us thereafter. Very nice stay!

All positives except the 3 levels of stairs. Fit 6 people comfortably. Clothesline out the window to dry washed clothes. Beds comfortable. Beautiful views of the Arno and across.

3 Stories Above the Arno

Be ready to walk (like most of Europe) and there are 54 stairs. The parking is convenient for the car and safe, but don’t think you’re getting in and out without some inconvenience. This is why Europeans are usually fit. The facilities are fabulous and well worth the climb. The agent assisted with bags which was nice. Very spacious well appointed… views were outstanding. Unit is new. Can’t beat the location. There are art books in the bedroom. Agent very helpful and informative. Check in a breeze.

Rooms with a View!!

This apartment is exactly as pictured- beautiful and perfect in every way. It has high ceilings on the top (third) floor in a charming residential neighborhood. There is a view from every room including the 2 bathrooms- the bedrooms and living room look out onto the Arno and the skyline of Florence. Marusca, the owner, is charming and responsive. There is no elevator but we were not at all bothered by this. All of the tourist sites are a pleasant walk and most within 15 minutes. There is everything you need in the neighborhood including some marvelous restaurants. There is a helpful folder Marusca has put together with all her suggestions. The property and our experience there was 10- very special and memorable

Great apartment and location

Very nice apartment, walking distance to sites. In a quiet neighborhood close to restaurants. No elevator so be ready to climb 3 flights of stairs.

Beautiful apartment

This apartment is absolutely beautiful. The location is amazing and the VIEW!!! It is updated and comfortable. There are a few flights of stairs to have to climb with no elevators. If I would have any complaints would be the size of the showers. The showers are very small. Luckily, I am small and could fit but a larger human would have difficulty.other than that, the apartment is very nice and the location is wonderful. I would highly recommend it!

Scenic river views and relaxing stay

We were impressed by the views of the Arno and rooftops along the back. The apartment was spotless, and the fixtures in both bathrooms are modern and of high quality. I loved the new windows that kept the noise out and can crank open to hear the sounds of Florence. The location is within steps of convenience stores, restaurants and breakfast places away from the hustle and bustle a couple of bridges away. The check in was done in person, so from the train station, it should only have been a 15 minute walk to meet up with the host’s assistant. But the streets of Florence being famously busy, narrow and tending to branch off, it took us a lot longer with suitcases! Check in would have been better if we could unlock remotely. We had an issue with the heat due to transition of seasons and the circuit breaker was turned off. Perhaps the information binder could be updated. Due to city construction along the front near the river, the water was turned off one day from 09:00 - 16:00 without any notice to us. This was very inconvenient on one of our 6 days. All in all, an excellent and relaxing stay in Firenze.

Lovely Place in the Real Florence

The property is a lovely, light filled and spacious apartment located on the Arno. The apartment is near Piazza Santo Spirito in the Oltrarno. In my opinion, this is the real Florence with great restaurants and a nice neighborhood vibe away from the frenetic tourist Florence. Yet the property is central enough that it is close (0.5 mi) to all the favorite tourist haunts. The host was very responsive and very nice. Check in was a breeze. Can’t say enough nice things about this property.

Florence Getaway

The apartment was as advertised in the listing. Our host, Marusca met us upon arrival, helped us settle in to her beautifully spacious apartment, shared where to eat and shop away from the busy tourist area. The amenities of the apartment are the nicest we have experienced through a VRBO booking. Rooms are big, master bedroom bed was beyond comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy meals in and living room view of the Arno River spectacular. The train station is an easy walk from the apartment. We took a couple of bus tours and they were easy to get to as well. This was our third trip to Florence in 10 years. We wish we would have found Marusca’s hidden gem sooner. Thank you Marusca for making our stay memorable! Phil and Kate

Perfect location

This apartment was in the perfect location, just south of the Arno river on the less touristy part of Florence. It was clean, with updated bathrooms and kitchen, plus Marusca was kind enough to leave us a bottle of local wine! Highly recommend.

Fantastic apartment with amazing views right on the river. Great location away from the high traffic tourist areas and close to great local spots for dining and shopping. Great set up for a friends traveling together. The street is a little noisy at night so come prepared with ear plugs, but otherwise, highly recommend and would stay again. The apartment is on the 2nd floor, or 3rd floor to US travelers, so be prepared for a lot of stairs!
