Red Pearl APt

  • This 67 square meters apartment is placed in the very heart of the historic centre and it can accomodate up to 4 people.
    Just 100 mt away from the Duomo, you will quickly walk to all main monuments (Uffizi, Galleria dell'Accademia, Piazza della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio). The Red Pearl apt is placed on the 3° floor with elevator (lucky to have an elevator in the ancient buildings of the center!). All rooms have high ceilings and in the wide double bedroom there is the original wooden parquet floor of the beginning of the last century.
    The wide living room is provided with TV and a cosy double sofa bed.
    The kitchen is fully equipped, where you will find dishes, glasses and pots to cook for your Italian dinners. Wide and quiet bedroom with a big closet that overlooks the Duomo). The bathroom is provided with the shower and the bidet.

    In the warm summer you will enjoy the A/C in the bedroom and a powerful fan in the living room. The apartment is also provided with heating, Wifi connection, washing machine, oven, kettle and moka coffee maker, hair dryer.
    Bed linen and towels are provided.
    A baby crib can be provided, on request in advance.

    You will love living at RED PEARL apt: you will be staying in the heart of the historic center, between the Duomo and the Accademia Gallery. Walking distance from all monuments and places of interest. What a nice idea to pop over your apartment to take a quick nap when you get tired.... !! A wonderful, large apartment so close to the Duomo. I was serenaded almost daily by an elderly man playing the accordion each afternoon on the street below the apartment, playing recognizable Italian music - for an American. Communication with Angela, the host, was great - always available.

Florence holiday

Location, location , location. 2 blocks from the Duomo made this very clean apartment the ideal place to be based to see all the sites of Florence. Hosts were exceptional and very friendly.

Pefect location

This location is within several blocks of most major Florence attractions as well as some of the best restaurants. The bed is quite comfortable. The personable property manager is most efficient and accessible.

Enjoyed Florence

Angela was a gracious and helpful host. The apartment is great. The elevator was most appreciated after our long days of walking throughout the city. Angela provided just the right amount of assistance before and during our stay.

Beautiful & Convenient

The apartment was just as pictured. Very clean and comfortable. Location was excellent. So close to the Duomo and other sites as well. Many nice restaurants right on the street. Hosts were very accommodating and informative. Would highly recommend!

Great Location

Everything is right outside your door 6 restaurants on the same 2 blocks of Via Dei Servi-the Duomo is 1 1/2 blocks away-15 -20 min walk in any direction gets you to all the sights, museums and more restaurants as well as the central market where you can get fresh foods

Wonderful stay in the heart of Florence

I had a wonderful stay with Angela! She was very kind and have great recommendations. The apartment was large and in a great location, just down the street from the Duomo. Would highly recommend! One note - as is hard to avoid in Italy - make sure to plug in the mosquito devices! Otherwise, a wonderfully stay and would definitely come back to stay with Angela again.

Great Location and Great Host

The location of this property is perfect for anyone interested in being close to the Florence Duomo as well as many local shops and restaurants. The Duomo is a block and a half away from the apartment and can be seen from the window. The apartment was very spacious for two people and very clean. Angela was there to greet us when we arrived and walk us through the features of the property. She was also very responsive to any communication prior to our arrival and ready to answer any questions. We were very pleased with our choice to stay here and would recommend it to anyone else visiting Florence.

Great Location/Spacious Apartment

We stayed for 6 nights and loved everything about the apartment. There is lots of space, it was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was functional - 4 burner gas stove/oven, good size fridge. The bathroom was large and perfect for the two of us. However, the shower may be small for larger individuals. Angela was super with communication. She met us at the apartment and went over everything with us when we arrived. It was an easy walk from the train station. It is located close to everything- Restaurants, shops, tourist sites. We hope to return to Florence one day and would definitely try to stay there again.

Good location, but

This was our last stop on our vacation in Italy and we were disappointed. We felt pressured by Angela to provide a check-in time, but were not provided with exact location or check-in details until we requested them. Florence is a difficult to navigate and we notified Angela that we would be later than our agreed upon arrival because we could not locate the property. We were promptly charged 20 euro for a late check-in. The listing shows a hot tub and there was none. We had to keep our luggage on the floor because a luggage rack was not provided. The dishes in the cabinet were put away dirty and we had to wash everything before we could use them. There should also be a warning about accessibility for this apartment. There is a big step up to get into the shower and the opening is so small that it requires you go in sideways. No grab bar is provided to assist in getting up and into the shower. Anyone considering renting this property should be made aware of this situation.

Cinco días fantasticos.

Hemos estado mi marido, mi hija y yo en la Perla Rosa. La casa esta muy bien, cómoda y acogedora con todo lo necesario muy limpia y en todo el centro de Florencia ideal para moverte por la ciudad y poder volver para hacer un descanso. Ángela ha estado muy amable y dispuesta a ayudarnos en lo que necesitáramos. Nos ha faltado tiempo para conocer todo lo que queríamos. Viniendo del duomo al principio de la calle venden unos sándwiches grandísimos y muy ricos, no se puede ir de Florencia sin probar los helados yo recomiendo la heladería Vivoli los mas ricos y bien de precio. Para las visitas los sitios recomiendo madrugar para estar a primera hora. Totalmente recomendable a nuestros amigos y familia. Gracias por todo.

L’appartement est idéalement situé à mi chemin entre la piazza Santa Annunziata et le Duomo. Il est très calme et bien isolé de la rue grâce au double vitrage.Bien équipé et spacieux, il constitue une bonne base pour explorer la ville.Angela et son père sont toujours prêt à répondre à toute demande et très réactif.

A 300m du Duomo

L’appartement est exactement comme spécifié dans l’annonce. Il est très spacieux avec de très grandes hauteurs sous plafond. Il y a également un petit supermarché juste en face. Il faut monter une première volée de quelques marches avant d’atteindre l’ascenseur mais rien d’insurmontable. L’accueil d’Angela est parfait, de l’arrivée jusqu’au départ.

Florence Stay

Excellent location as well as a very nice apartment. With kitchen and washer in the apartment enhanced the convenience and lightened the amount of clothes one needed to pack for this trip to Italy. One block to the Duomo and a 15 minute walk to the train station made this "home" easy to navigate not only Florence but also the hill towns in Central Italy. Our hostess was the best. Angela responded quickly to our questions and needs such as getting cabs during a taxi strike. This was my 2nd stay at Angela's and hopefully there will be more in the future in her lovely city fo Florence.

Perfect Florence Stay

Angela’s place is perfect! My family of four was comfortable with the bed and pull-out couch. There was lots of room, a full kitchen, and washing machine if you need it. We felt safe with the 3 locked doors before getting into the apartment. The location is close to the Duomo, Galleria di Accademia (Statue of David), a grocery store, shops, and lots of restaurants! Angela was very communicative and even suggested restaurants, which led us to one of the best T-bone steaks we ever had!! We highly recommend staying there and will return any time we visit Florence.

Great experience in Firenze

There are several reasons to stay at this apartment. Location, cleanliness and amenities. The glue that held our experience together was Angela, our hostess. She is super responsive and proactive with suggestions where to go for dinner and etc. This is a block away from the Duomo. Florence was packed with tourists and having this oasis of hospitality and comfort in the craziness kept us going. We booked this several months in advance because it’s very popular. Strongly recommend.

Property is as advertised. It is in a great location, very close to the Duomo. The pullout is a bit uncomfortable, and the shower is a bit tight. Angela was great and patient with us as she let us drop off our luggage early and waited close to an hour for us as we got lost looking for the apartment.

Great spot in Florence

Refreshingly quiet, yet close to everything! Being on the 3rd floor (with elevator) plus the fact that this street has restricted vehicular access made it the peaceful place I was hoping it would be. It was spacious and clean and best of all tons of cool restaurants and shops close by. The Duomo was 1 block away which was primarily why we stayed here. I would visit again. Angela arranged for my taxi ride to the airport at 4:30am which was incredibly helpful. Thanks so much! martie

Duomo View

This apartment was in a perfect location. Definitely in the historic district. Plenty of places to eat near by. The owner was very helpful. Since we are an older couple, we found the shower was difficult to get in and out of.
