All in all our stay was totally fine. I don’t think the property owner knew that there was a broken tree that collapsed during the last wind storms that hit Oregon. It was quite concerning that the tree was in the direct line of a power cord attached to the house. The only thing holding this tree together was sap. I also strongly encourage them to fix the lights leading up to the house as we had to turn the brights of our car on just to make it safely up the steps to the house. We have seniors that were visiting during this trip, it was very concerning when it got dark, as there is absolutely no lights going up towards the house, no street lights at all either. The hot tub we had to figure out, if you don’t know how to use a hot tub you basically would just be sitting there in Stillwater. Instructions to proper hot tub use would’ve been helpful. I think the linens and the bedding were clean, but the beds were rather uncomfortable. All in all this house was absolutely fine, but I’m more than likely not returning. For a house that has a really awesome place set up for kids, I would’ve thought it had more safety features to ensure kids play was safe. There’s no baby gates, there is no ladder system to access the top bunk aside from a stepping stool making it rather scary for smaller kids to get back down. I will say, though the pirate ship and octopus room is absolutely my favorite amenity and it was so creative and adorable.
