Fabulous Villa in Florence

Perfect apartment in the heart of Florence

Our family of 7 enjoyed a perfect stay in Florence in this apartment. The location is safe, quiet and ideal to walk to all major attractions. There are several restaurants, cafes and markets for groceries just outside the apartment. The communication with the host prior to arrival and upon check in was excellent. There are 4 bedrooms with 3 en-suite bathrooms. Each had a nice hot shower with good water pressure and 2 sets of towels. The beds were all comfortable with nice bedding. The kitchen was spacious and very well-appointed with many basics, large refrigerator, lots of cookware/tableware, espresso machine and American coffee pot. The living areas were also large and perfect for everyone to gather. Air conditioning was amazing, just as cold as in USA. Mobility issues were not a concern for us but note that the apartment is located up 3 flights of stairs but it has a small elevator that works well. I highly recommend this apartment for a wonderful stay in Florence.

The apartment is very well appointed and in a convenient location. There is a nice kitchen and the washer and dryer was helpful for laundry and worked well. TVs in master bedroom and living room with Netflix. Elevator is convenient for luggage. Lots of bathrooms with good showers. Really a perfect spot for a stay in Florence.

Our stay at this luxury VRBO in Pitti, Florence, was exceptional. The location was perfect—close to everything yet peaceful. The apartment was spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained. Absolute Perfection

This property is at the top of property offerings not just in Firenze but all over the world. It’s spacious, well appointed, has many amenities that are extreme luxuries in Firenze and PERFECT location. Everything is high end and you feel very relaxed and comfortable staying here. WOWZA!

3 couples stayed here for 4 nights and it was nothing short of spectacular! We used the sauna daily, the kitchen with it's big farm table was our gathering point. The bedrooms were spacious, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms had excellent water pressure. The location is ideal as it's on the opposite side of the Arno River from most tourist spots so it's quiet at night yet it's within walking distance of anything you would want to see. We rented a car for 2 days to go into the countryside and parking at the Lungarno Hotel was easy to access. The apartment comes with free wine from vineyard owned by the family I believe. The wine was wonderful and we were grateful for this nice touch. In summary, I highly recommend this lovely apartment and would absolutely stay here again when we visit Florence!

Beautiful apartment

The apartment is beautiful with lots of space for privacy if traveling with a large group. It's right in the middle of a happening area- lots of shopping, restaurants, and people right outside. One thing to be aware of- if you are a light sleeper, good to bring a sound machine or earphones bc the apartment is across from the Pitti Palace (beautiful) but also the recycling pick-up area- so in the morning between 6am-7:30am you will hear the trucks come. But with a sound machine it would not be a problem. Beautiful place to stay!

Great Stay in Florence

Just an overall excellent stay at this conveniently-located property. Only 20 minutes walk from all the key local attractions as well as the train station made this a perfect hub for visiting Florence and other areas in Italy. Each bedroom had its own bathroom - plenty of space and extremely clean, so perfect for couples. All that said, Erika was fantastic. She met us upon arrival and gave us good guidance on things to do, especially great recommendations on restaurants. The overall highlight, however, was Chef Erika's cooking class, hosted right at the VRBO (which has a well-appointed kitchen). If you are at all interested in preparing and enjoying local food, the cooking class is exceptional.

Amazing 3 weeks!

We could not have asked for a better place. The location was great, the spacious 4 bedrooms with every attention to detain, the kitchen…it was our home away from home. Great property, great location

Perfect location to explore Florence, just steps from Ponte Vecchio. Immaculately maintained apartment with large common areas. The hosts, Anna and Erika were fantastic, and in fact Erika was our chef for a very special New Year’s dinner for my family of 7. Wish every property was this well located, maintained, and managed.

Ponte Vecchio Penthouse

This is an absolutely amazing apartment with every amenity you can possibly need. Nine of us (all adults) stayed very comfortably with great privacy. We had family breakfasts and even cooked a wonderful family dinner while there. It is very safe and private yet steps away from the Ponte Vecchio. Amazing shops and restaurants just outside the front door. Washer and dryer were so helpful. We could not have been more happy with the property and communication with the property manager Erika who even helped us with groceries. We definitely plan to return to this property.

Wonderful location and many positives.. except lack of AC in 106 degree weather

We had communication with the hosts prior to our stay and were welcomed after traveling all day at the property by Erika. She showed us around. We noticed one room was rather warm - but she said the AC should cool down. We contacted her within the hour and she came back and admitted the master bedroom and bath (supposed to sleep 4 people) AC were not working. She promised someone would arrive the next day to fix it. Our group was sadly but thankfully smaller than we originally thought so we made do using the rest of the space in the apartment. We had my 84 year old mother and were all quite tired from traveling. We assumed the problem would be resolved the next day. The next day we received a message later in the evening that the problem would not be resolved during our 6 stay stay at the apartment. She said it appeared we were fine with the problem. We were trying to be understanding and accommodating when we arrived and were very gracious to Erika. This did not mean we were ok with not being able to use 1/3 of the place for our entire stay without being properly compensated. I tried to resolve the situation with the property manager via many emails over the course of the week. I had asked for a refund for 1/3 of the space since it was not possible to use that part of the apartment due to the 105 degree florence heat that week. They offered to refund 10% of the stay and no more. this was unacceptable to us - we only expected a fair refund and still do...
