Great view/location
Place is as advertised. It has great separation of space for living and sleeping. The place is clean and comfortable with a fantastic view. We really appreciated the location and being able to explore downtown Florence simply by walking out the door.

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed on the coast
I go to the coast a lot and this has to be one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at. The view is perfect, the apartment is clean, comfortable and has just about everything you’ll need (the beds might be too comfortable tbh). And the owner/manager seems incredibly easy to get a hold of (never needed to though). The apartment is split-level with bedrooms on one floor and the living on another and the short stairs have some funky angles that could prove a little challenging if you…let’s say, enjoyed your night too much or have severe joint issues. But even then, not too bad especially as there are only like 10 steps. The only negative has nothing to do with the property itself and something which the owner’s have no control over and that’s parking. Old Town has three hour parking limits on Bay Street and the immediate side streets so if you have more than one car in your party you’ll have to do some creative shuffling and have a little luck on your side. It’s honestly not a deal breaker and not a big deal, but good to know going in if you have an issue with that sort of thing. Overall an absolute gem of a property in a great locale (the Siuslaw River Bridge is my favorite of the coastal bridges so seeing it every day was a cherry on top of a great stay). Thanks!

Adult sibling get together
Enjoying the viewing of the river. Local shops. Visited beaches and lunch in Newport. Very well stocked with towels and kitchen supplies. Close to groceries and local restaurants. Beds are comfortable. Lots of steps which was tough for my sisters with mobility problems. I would highly recommend this listing.

Beautiful view of the river
Overall, this location was ideal for downtown shopping, eating and walking. Loved the opportunity to see holiday lights across the river and the historic bridge from the common space. Advertised to sleep 6, but pull out in play space was a single/twin, so one of our twins ended up sleeping on the floor. Probably would not stay here again if we have have both grandparents and twins all under the same roof with us.

True Gem!
Loved this place! Downtown location with awesome views! Easy walk to dinner and cocktails. Had all the amenities we needed and the sheets and bedding were top notch! Looked forward to going to bed each night. Highly recommend.

A Wonderful Property
Florence, Oregon has been a favorite of mine for many decades. The Bay Window property is far nicer and more spacious than it appeared in it’s online listing. The bed was exquisitely comfortable. The property is located in Old Town, Florence. The site is riverfront, which provides an ongoing theater of the river, boats, abundant wildlife, and the drawbridge. Check in was a breeze. Reading the directions left me with a little trepidation, but, I did what the instructions said, and the e-lock worked perfectly. The property does involve a double flight of stairs up to the living area. I mentioned this only for the people who might have trouble navigating stairs. If I ever have occasion to stay in Florence again, the Bay Window property will be at the top of my list.
