Our stay was for a family holiday and the host made it special with a christmas tree and decorations. The house was perfect for us in size making our stay comfortable.

Lovely deck on the back of the house has beautiful views of the lake. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the difficult climb down to the lake. The last 2 steps are particularly steep with at least a 2 foot vertical drop to the next step.

Huge home, lots of space for the 12 of us. Nice private beach and kayaks for use. The stairs down to the beach could use some updates as a couple of the steps are precarious and very steep. One of the deck chairs with cushions is broken and needs to be tossed out. Kitchen has lots of space. Bbq grill outside works well. Includes crock pot which was real nice for one of our meals. The cheese grader could be replaced as the one provided had a broken handle. Bedrooms are spacious. Air conditioning doesnt reach upstairs,but opening windows at night helps. We were provided 1 roll of paper towels for a week so we had to purchase more.Internet worked well 6 out of the 7 days and we were able to access movies on tv. Carpet tacks to entrance into upstairs bedrooms and laundry room need to hammered down as we had a few cuts on bare feet.The view is stunning and so quiet!

The house was big and pretty nice. It was not perfect, but I was not expecting perfection. The price was reasonable. We had seven people and had PLENTY of room. The trail down to the dock is difficult for some but the dock was good. Next time we would bring our favorite cooking gear.

Ladies weekend

The outside of this home needs some serious TLC, it’s kind of sad really. But other than that, the host was amazing and the house was delightful, the weather was perfect for a ladies weekend and we were so grateful for this location.

awesome lake house

house is great size and location is great very peaceful and relaxing 2nd stay at this property and would stay again ... only things to note for owner or management co. would be the tvs are not very user friendly with the ( zumu ) set up did not want to connect most of the time also master bedroom door has been broken for both stays at house (2yrs) not very difficult to glue and clamp door that is splitting and replace the handle , almost did it myself this time .. but this place is great and would stay here again for sure .. awsome vacation !!!

Lake house

We rented the house for our family as we celebrated mom, grandma, and great grandma at her memorial service at a church in Florence. When we walked in to the house we were greated by soft music playing and lights on each each room. The house met our expectations and was clean. We were a bit concerned based on prior reviews but it was clean. It is a spacious house with lots of room for guests. My son and daughter-in-law paddle boarded 3 different times right off the pier. Just some things to note if you are looking to rent (not issues but just so you know). The kitchen and living room are downstairs. The floor you enter on has 3 bedrooms and the laundry room. There were not any large fry pans that I could find, so if you need one bring your own. There is a keurig and crockpot available. Lots of nice water pressure. The tiled floors were heated (a nice treat on a cold day). There is not the extra table pictured in the breakfast nook. We had a hard time figuring out the heat in each room (besides the heat pump)

Family Reunion

The house was very clean inside out side needs some TLC in the outside we could see the outside in the deck needs some repairs. One bathroom upstairs the shower didn’t spray well the handle in toilet was loose had to juggle it so it wouldn’t run. Sink drained slow and the lock was hard to lock I am only telling you this because if you don’t use it you won’t know. The house is absolutely beautiful and the view was beautiful. Our family had the best time ! Thank you for sharing your home !!

Beautiful view

So very very disappointed with dirty looking white towels , filthy rugs, tables missing from pictures in the description. All the blinds were falling down no privacy.House falling apart railings rotting outside. Couldn’t sit down outside ripped cushions, plus white chairs were pure black. We paid a lot for this place and would like some of our money back. Somebody needs to do an inspection of this place . False advertising!!!! It would be such a beautiful place if someone would put money in upkeep, or it will fall apart for sure. The balcony in the master bedroom looks in safe to go out on.please listen to my remarks before someone gets hurt at this once beautiful home. Thank you

Lake visit

The location is amazing. We enjoyed the lake and the convenience to the coast. The house is pretty much what you see in the pictures. The outside and some of the furnishings are getting a little weathered. Didn’t stop us from enjoying our stay.

Beautiful Lakeside Retreat

We loved the location, views, and lake access and had a really great weekend, but the listing is inaccurate. There's no sleeper sofa in the livingroom. Also, there are a lot of sugar ants exploring all over the house.

Family vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home on Mercer Lake. Plenty of room for our 3 adult children, spouses and 2 grandchildren. The home had everything we needed in a beautiful setting.

Great Location, Great house, needs a little upkeep

Loved the location and amenities. A few minor issues with TV (no remote in Kitchen, Cable in downstairs master did not work), and would like to see dock repaired. We've already booked for next summer!

nice lakeside property

excellent. 2 concerns: board on dock rotten could cause someone to break a leg. also no handrails in showers or jacuzzi could be a problem for the elderly. showers are slippery. also jacuzzi had intermittant problems with the jets. back downstairs side door don't lock. upstairs master bedroom doors don't close. basic maintenance issues.

Beautiful Picturesque Views

One of the best stays we have ever had. As soon as you walk in you are swept away with amazing views. All the accomodations were excellent and well cleaned. Great for get together and a time of relaxation. Will book again in the future.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time! Florence is beautiful and this home, right on Mercer Lake, was amazing! We enjoyed the lake but also enjoyed the close proximity to the ocean! Everyone enjoyed themselves!

Had a wonderful time!

We enjoyed the property very much, the house was very comfortable for our family, we loved the huge deck and dock on the water, we rented a jet ski for a day from the resort and that was so much fun, on our second day a dear came down for a visit too. We couldn't get the main floor heat to work and they did sent 2 people out to check it, maybe we were doing something wrong? The property does need some maintenance repairs such as a few of the blinds in the bedroom are broken, some cracked tiles, and some exterior work and paint is needed. But non of this inpacted our stay! We all had a wonderful time! We do plan on renting again next year!
