Had a lovely time in Florence staying in San Frediano! The neighborhood was perfect… Very authentic and far enough from the hustle and bustle she feel like we were living in a local neighborhood. Get close enough to be able to walk everywhere! Nicola was very helpful and was always available for any questions that we had. He met us a check-in and brought us up to the apartment and showed us everything we needed to know. Thank you so much!

Our host, Nicola, was delightful, super responsive, and full of helpful information. The apartment was clean, spacious, beautifully decorated, had a sunny kitchen, really comfortable bed and a super quiet location!

Nicola was an incredibly kind, helpful and communicative host. The flat is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The location is a 20-25 minute walk from the heart of the city with a bus stop just a few steps away. Will return!

Nicola was a superb host. He arranged taxi service, parking and restaurant recommendations. The apartment was immaculate and well decorated. He willingly accommodated special requests and made us feel at home in Florence.We highly recommend staying here. San Frediano was charming and a close walk to the City Center. We enjoyed our stay.

This apartment is a gem- beautifully designed and decorated with lots of space and great amenities. The unexpected best part is that it is in the authentic, artsy, Oltrarno district- across the river from the touristy center of town. The walk from the center of Florence to the apartment leads you past wonderfully authentic restaurants and artisan shops.

Excellent Property Outside the Crowds

Very nice apartment with one queen sized bedroom, one single bedroom, living room, kitchen and 1.5 bath. Nice location that can feel a bit out of the way (approx 25 min walk to the Duomo) south of the river.Excellent communications and service from the owner to sort small issues and provide guidance about the local area. I’d stay again.

A Home Stay in Florence

We loved this place! It started with initially arranging the rental and how responsive the owner was in answering our questions and his communication conveyed the feel that we are going to be welcomed. Upon arrival, Nicola showed us everything and provided recommendations in the local area for laundry service, food shopping, cafes and restaurants. This place shows better in person than the pictures. It is bright with the windows and was very comfortable with all the accommodations of being at home. It was clean, quiet, and safe. The location is outstanding. Every day we felt like we were living in Florence from our home, whether we stayed in the neighborhood area or whether we walked the short distance to the center of Florence.Nicola was the perfect host. He checked in on us during our stay and followed up immediately on any questions or request. We would gladly stay here again without hesitation.

A Visual Delight - Oh, there's a famous statue in town too?

The photos just do not do it justice. This is a beautiful property that can accommodate 3 people comfortably. The 1.5 baths, well stocked kitchen and the lovely adornments - all set a comfortable ambiance. The king-sized bed was very comfortable, and the curtains darkened the bedroom until we wanted the beautiful light to stream in. I could hop on one foot to three nearby restaurants, and I enjoyed them all. All the modern appliances were at our fingertips. The shower had plenty of pressure and hot water.Nicola is a genuinely lovely person who made us feel welcome and valued in every possible way. We asked for extra hangers and presto, there was an abundance of hangers. We needed a little help with the house systems and Nicola patiently came through with a quick visit to explain whatever we needed to know. Nicola is a warm and kind host who made us feel right at home any time we needed to consult with him.My highest praise goes to both Nicola as a person as well as to the lovely accommodation he provides in Firenze. Ciao, Nicola. Spero che ci vediamo pronto!

Great Apartment for a Long Getaway

We rented this apartment for a month, and felt it was very comfortable. It was immaculate, and I am fussy about cleanliness. It has very new bathroom fixtures and kitchen appliances, all sparkling clean and in great working condition. The kitchen had everything one needed, and the full sized refrigerator, induction cooktop, and microwave oven were especially appreciated. Although the main entrance to the building was off a busy street, all of the apartment windows faced a private, quiet courtyard. The kitchen was especially bright and welcoming with two huge sets of windows that flooded the kitchen with sunlight that spilled into the living area. Since we visited in March, we did not need the air conditioning, so cannot comment about its functioning; the heating worked well on chilly days. The location was in a neighborhood a few blocks outside the old San Frediano gate into the city, so was not at all touristy, and there were many good restaurants within an easy walk. We appreciated not being in a tourist district, but that made it a little more distant to the main historic and cultural sites; however, there was a bus stop right outside the main door into our building, and we often hopped on the 6A or 6B bus to take us over the river. As was noted by others, Nicola was a wonderful, attentive host; probably the best we have ever had the pleasure to meet and get to know during our stay. His guidance made our trip especially pleasurable!

Absolutely wonderful

This apartment is beautiful, as well as comfortable and quiet—a true pleasure to come home to. It is located in our favorite part of Florence—Oltrarno. An easy walk to the major sites but happily tucked away from tourist crowds. This was our fourth trip to Florence and this apartment was our favorite by far. We loved exploring Florence from this location and were glad it was easy to walk to the train station when we went on day trips to Lucca and Bologna. There is an excellent grocery store within just a few minutes’ walk, as well as wonderful small food shops, trattorias, and cafes nearby. The apartment was immaculate. Best of all, Nicola was the perfect host. He was responsive, extremely kind, happy to help in any way, and gave us excellent recommendations which we thoroughly enjoyed and will be saving for future trips. We would love to stay in this apartment again!

Die Wohnung liegt in einem tollen Quartier mit vielen Möglichkeiten sich fein zu verpflegen. Es ist ruhig und gibt etwas Abstand zu dem Trubel direkt in der Innenstadt. Das Appartement ist genauso wie auf den Fotos - die Küche ist durch die grossen Fenster lichtdurchflutet was sehr schön ist. Zudem ist sie gut ausgestattet. Das Bett ist bequem, am liebsten hätte ich es nach Hause genommen. Die Kommunikation mit Nicola war perfekt. Er hat immer sehr schnell geantwortet. Zudem hat er einen eigenen kleinen Stadtplan mit vielen Tipps wo es das beste Essen gibt. Leider hatten wir zu wenig Zeit alles auszuprobieren... Ich kann diesen Ort nur empfehlen. Excellent location in quite neighborhood

Very nice apartment in a great neighborhood with small shops and a great deli and neighborhood restaurant frequented by locals. . Apartment and master bedroom is spacious but second bedroom is small. Great bathroom with large wonderful showers. I would give it 5 stars overall if second bedroom was a little bigger.

Nicola is an absolute Super Host! Book, Book, Book!

Nicola went above and beyond and was overly accommodating, so kind and helpful, and super easy to communicate with. He went out of his way to get a 2nd baby crib upon our request for 2. He created a map for all his guests with pinpoints of all of his recommended spots around for food and shopping. Although about 80% of the places were closed because it was August when many Italian business owners travel, the ones he recommended that were open while we stayed were superb! I can only imagine how amazing of an experience it would be when everything around is open. The apartment itself is gorgeous, very easy to access, AC works great, and the living area and dining is wonderful for resting in between day adventures. Walkable to all the main sites to see in Florence. Grocery store right around the corner! I genuinely cannot rave enough about Nicola and our stay in Florence! My family and I would absolutely stay here again in the more lively seasonal months. Highly Recommend!

As great as the pictures are in this listing they do not do it justice. The place is stunning and excellent for 4 people. A little walk to the center of Florence, but many coffee shops, restaurants and grocery stores close by

Beautiful Little Apartment in perfect location

Apartment was even nicer in person than i pictures. Nicola was super easygoing and helpful with everything we needed, made check in and out a breeze. In addition he gave a great list of restaurant/cafe recommendations that were all amazing and not touristy. Location was perfect for us it was just outside all of the super populated areas but in easy walking distance to anything you would want to see including some great food/coffee/gelato on the very same street! If we came back to Florence in the future we would absolutely book this place again without a doubt!

Excellent Experience and Highly Recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay at this property! From the time we secured the online reservation throughout our entire stay, Nicola was available and eager to assure all questions were answered and made sure we had whatever we needed. The apartment is very spacious and worked well for 3 adults. We fell in love with the tasteful furnishings and decorations! Although we didn’t prepare meals at the apartment, the eat-in kitchen was roomy and provided everything needed had we chosen to prepare meals. Great restaurants, cafes, and supermarket were within steps away and the neighborhood is safe and welcoming. We absolutely look forward to staying in this apartment on our next trip to Florence!
