Wow did we enjoy our stay. The location was just perfect for us. A quick walk to just about everything in florence. So many restaurants, grocery stores, taxi stand, and the train station. All just a quick walk from our front door. With four bedrooms, each of our adult children were able to have their own rooms. The living room was comfortable and relaxing. The view of the duomo was so enjoyable at all hours of the day, including sunset and evenings. I especially enjoyed the church bells that we could hear every day.The kitchen was a major plus for us as it allowed us to take our leftovers home and have a place to refrigerate and warm them.Lastly check in was a breeze. They allowed us to check in a bit early after our long day of flying. Our host provided us a code so we could get in with our phones when we arrived. No need to wait for someone. Lastly, they provided us with three sets of keys, So we could all have access coming and going as we pleased. The only issue we had wasThe four story walk up. After a long day of walking through the city and coming home tired, I would have preferred it to be on a lower floor. However being on the fourth floor is what provided us the views of the church, so it was worth it. Would definitely come back again.Thank you again for taking such good care of our family.Dan S.

Started out our amazing Italy vacation with close family friends (total 4 adults and 4 kids ages 12-14). Arrival and check in process and information sent was very helpful and clear. Host responded to questions promptly.Check out process was clear and effortless.Top marks for host as I accidentally left a jacket in the closet and she messaged me, took a photo, and has arranged for it to be sent to me. Stayed Aug 4-10. Great times in a wonderful city. Location walkable to historic sites. All good.

Month in Florence

This place was so great for our family! We spent an incredible month in Florence and this is our home-base for the entire time. Could not have chosen a better location. I will say if you don’t like climbing stairs this may not be for you. We hope to return one day!

Fantastic Florence Apartment

We had a wonderful stay in Florence at this property! The location was great, we walked everywhere with a family group of 7 including 3 young kids. The apartment was spacious with more than enough room and bedrooms for all of us. Large windows with amazing views, a fully stocked kitchen and a relaxing place to come at the end of the day. The host was very responsive and accommodated all our requests. It was full of character and our favourite stay of the 4 places we rented in Italy. Be prepared for some stairs to access the unit, but this was the case everywhere we stayed. I would definitely stay here again!

Customer Care

Check in process stressful because I couldn’t get the app to open. When I contacted the host she said she wasn’t sure if she could get anyone to meet us at the property. Not helpful. Was able to load app and get in. Wish she would have warned us about the taxi strike as well. The property itself is fine, I think it’s 50 stairs or so, if you have anyone who can’t manage them. When you get into the property there are another 20 or so stairs to the upper bedroom, and one of our party hit his head on the very low roof at the top of the stairs. No sign there. Overall decent place in good location other than getting a taxi. One shower wasn’t draining and let the owner know and she told me the pipes are old. I emphasize that it wasn’t draining and she sent someone who fixed it. Washing machine leaked water all over the floor.Biggest issue is on our first night we went for dinner and upon return the key didn’t work. We attempted to contact owner for well over an hour with no response. 2 of our party badly needed to use the bathroom . Went to the pub on the corner and they refused to let them use the bathroom despite my offering to pay. We knocked on doors in the apartment complex out of emergency and some people downstairs let them use their bathroom, thankfully. Oh, the owner never did talk to me personally, and said we need to bring multiple keys with us. If you’re looking for customer care, guidance and recommendations this is not for you.

Beautiful apartment, perfect location

The apartment is perfectly tucked into a location that is near the heart of Florence but far enough away that it is always quiet. We comfortably slept 6 adults and 2 small children, it was perfect for us. We were wary of the stairs as other reviews mentioned but we quickly got used to it and was never an issue. Highly recommend!

Huge Apartment in the Perfect Florence location.

We were 6 adults and we rented the apartment for the month of September. It was huge and was located about 6-8 blocks from the Duomo but a block outside of the crowds. The location is so great -allowing us to walk anywhere in town quickly. The views from almost all the windows in the apartment were directly at the Duomo which was an incredible start To every day. The apartment was huge and had 3 bathrooms. It included a clothes washer which we used almost every day. The biggest drawback to the apartment was that it was 68 steps from the street entrance up to the apartment door. If you are out of shape or have mobility issues please consider that. For us (2 adults in our late 60’s and 4 adults in our 30’s) it wasn’t a big problem but I can’t say we didn’t wish for an elevator. The owner took immediate care of a few small issues and was very easy to communicate with. That view and the location were a great memory that will always be with us.

Perfect location!

Our family of 7 had a great stay! The home was exactly as pictured. We loved the location and walked every where. The market was a short walk away. The check in was super easy. Take keys with you just in case the phones go down. There are lots of steps! At night when we came back I dreaded the steps. Haha.

Responsive property owner fixed an issue promptly.

The property is wonderful and the location is great. We had an issue our first night where the Air conditioning wouldn't work due to power insufficiency. And it was HOT in Florence. The property owner was in constant communication with us. Due to this problem, Francesca allowed us to stay a few hours longer in the apartment upon checkout due to a late connecting train and brought us a wonderful breakfast. Sometimes problems occur that are beyond the power of the home owner. It's a testament to Francesca on how she handled the issue. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at this property. An extended family of 8 and plenty of room and bathrooms. We had been nervous about the stairs up to the apartment, but they were really not difficult at all, and worth it for the view.

Spacious apartment

The apartment was large, the facilities were clean, and met all our basic needs. The location was great, out of the way from the crowded street and the major sites were a short walk away. As everyone else says, the stairs are the only downside.

Wonderful place!

This was a lovely place for our group of 7 to stay for a long weekend in Florence. Three bathrooms let our group get out the door efficiently each day. One downside is the four flights of stairs at the end of each day, but I guess people who live on lower floors don't get the view of the Duomo.

Great location!

Great place! Great location! Easy to walk around. Enough space for us all. It was nice to have multiple bathrooms. We were looking forward to cooking together more but there could be more cookware. We couldn’t find pans or cooking sheets.
