Wow - if I could rate this place 10 stars I would! Stefano and Antonella were premiere hosts offering many local recommendations for restaurants and activities. Stayed here in the middle of our trip, able to do laundry and even cooked a dinner with ingredients from the market! The view is indescribable, sunsets and early mornings with the Duomo through the window. There are so many great restaurants close by. Feels like you have the best view in the city - we didn’t want to leave!

A fabulous apartment. The location was the perfect place to experience Florence. Unfortunately, we were not able to be greeted by the hosts due to a situation that didn't allow them to meet us on arrival. They did coordinate to have the cleaning staff meet us and complete the check in process for us. The process was somewhat challenging due to the individual did not speak English, but Google translate came in handy. Even this issue did not detract from an overall great experience.

Antonella and Stefano's apartment is perfect for visiting Florence. The apartment is in an amazing location, with a great view of the Duomo and the city/hillside. The location is great for exploring the city's museums, restaurants and shops. The hosts were very gracious and gave us additional recommendations for dining out and things to do.

An amazing apartment in a beautiful part of Florence! It had old world charm with modem necessities. We thoroughly enjoyed the view of the Duomo and the bat towels were the most luxurious we have ever had at a VRBO!

Best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in

Perfect location, in historic building, with the most lovely proprietor who shared all his favorite places to eat in Florence. The view was unbelievable, it lifted my heart every morning to look out on the Duomo and rolling hills, watching the swallows, and hearing the church bells.

Looking down on Florence

Donati's Tower is a medieval tower superbly modernised, iincluding for example a very important lift access to everything up to the fifth floor. Comfortable accommodation for two. One reservation: while no-one is going to do much cooking for themselves in a building surrounded by good restaurants, cafes and bars, with no oven in the nice little kitchen a microwave would be useful.The additional cash payment of 90 Euros for cleaning seems a lot on top of an already expensive rental fee but the entire building is spotlessly clean.One warning.......Down in the little piazza just below the tower is an Irish bar popular with students and open until 2.00am. You may need to wear earplugs to get a decent night's sleep.

Magical!!!!

My husband and I are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and knew we had to stay in Florence. Antonella’s apartment was spectacular. The views, location, comfortable bed etc were everything we hoped for and we did end up eating at quite a few of the restaurants she suggested. All the meals were memorable. Walking around the city was very easy and we were able to explore many of the museums and points of interest. I highly recommend this apartment and would love to stay here again in the future.

Extraordinarily Beautiful

The view from 3 directions is extraordinary from the tower, exactly as photographed. The apartment is clean, comfortable and has all the conveniences. There are extra touches - fresh strawberries, chocolates, etc. overall, excellent! The only thing I was not aware of was the additional cleaning fee and tourist tax, which had to be paid on cash on arrival. But, admittedly, I may have missed that in the communication. Antonella even worked out a taxi to get me back to train station at the end of visit.

Beautiful and convenient location

We had a wonderful five days in Florence. The location of this property was close enough to everything terrific shops, and restaurants right out the door. Tired of pasta? As you exit to the right just a bit down to the left. There’s a great English pub. Tremendous burgers, fish and chips.. Very comfortable. So glad there was an elevator.

Home Away from Home

We've had the pleasure of booking with Antonella & Stefano in the past, but this was our first time booking the Loggia space. It had an absolutely stunning view that we spent so much of our time enjoying! The space had everything we needed for our stay and was close to all of our favorite eateries and shops. We even had a chance to take a pasta making class right around the corner! Our stay was absolutely great, and we appreciate Antonella & Stefano's hospitality. Mercedes, the property manager, is also such a pleasure. Can't wait for our next trip!

Perfect Location

What a wonderful experience at Donati Towers Loggia.When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Stefano. He kindly showed us the property and shared with us a map of the area with some tips of what to do and where to eat near the apartment. The pics posted are exactly as you see, the location was perfect to walk pretty much anywhere in the city. We took a taxi to the train station the day we left with all of our luggage, otherwise, we walked everywhere for 4 days. I highly recommend staying here!

Spectacular view apartment centrally located

This is the 3rd apartment we have stayed in that the owners have in this building. I think this is my favorite one. It has an incredible view from both the loggia and the bedroom. The AC works great as does the elevator if you are tired from the day and don't want to do the stairs. The bathroom and kitchen are very well designed and modern/clean and have everything you need. The suggestions from the owners of where to go, what to do, and where to eat were all fantastic. Hope that we get to stay here again in the future.

Absolute Perfection!

This beautiful apartment exceeded our expectations! The decor is gorgeous, the bed is a dream, the AC worked beautifully and the views are breathtaking. Our hosts were beyond accommodating and gracious, and everything we wanted to see and do was within walking distance. The neighborhood is a feast for the senses. I cannot recommend highly enough!
