4 nite stay - Sep. 2025. This '3rd floor flat' met our needs & centrally located 'to walk' to museums & plazas. Unit is an 'interior flat' & does not look onto street. Upstairs balcony was nice & kitchen functional. Flat is literally in front of one of the churches. 3 story, Market Place, 2 blocks away, a must see. Host was helpful. Coffee & shampoo provided. Netflex worked with owns password! Thank u Gaia. Ben & Alicia- san diego.

Gaia was a great host and was very accommodating and helpful. The apartment was in a great location for walking to everything we did. Grocery stores, restaurants, and a pharmacy were close by. We felt very safe at the apartment and the elevator was very helpful for moving our luggage on check-in and checkout. We will definitely plan to stay here again when we go back to Florence.

This apartment is in a prime location. Easily accessible to shopping, food and drink, and tours. Even in a high traffic area, the apartment is very quiet (with the exception of church bells lol).

We loved the terrace, sipping wine and watching the sunset after a long day of touring. Location, location, location! Perfect location, less than two blocks from the Central Market, near great restaurants and the train and bus stations. Private, quiet, A/C and elevator too.

Communication with the host and availability at the house was amazing. The property was one of the nicest we have stayed at. Incredibly clean and the location was out of this world convenient. Everything you can possibly need as a visitor to Florence and a guest at the home was provided for and thoughtfully provided. Beds were comfortable. Heating/AC worked great. Closet storage was fantastic. Only wish we could have stayed longer than a week. Don't miss booking this one. It is a keeper.

Close to everything!

Gaia was a phenomenal host and the space was perfect for our needs. Her apartment is a beautiful family home right in the heart of everything. We truly appreciated all that it offered. Be sure to check out her husband's leather shop downstairs. The best in Tuscany!!

Perfect lication

Gaia met us at the property and gave us a very thorough tour and restaurant recommendations. The apartment is very quaint and amazingly quiet though in busy neighbourhood. You can get anywhere quickly from here and there is an elevator.

So eine Unterkunft findet man selten! Absolut zentrale und trotzdem ruhige Lage, Ausstattung (abgesehen von der Dusche im Bad), Sicherheit (vier Türschlösser bis zur Wohnung!), Erreichbarkeit über einen (nostalgischen) Fahrstuhl und totale Authentizität (Vermieterin, die in dem Haus geboren ist, selbst in der Wohnung gelebt hat, deren Eltern noch dort wohnen und dessen Bruder ein Geschäft im Erdgeschoss hat und dadurch ein Wohnraum und eine Küche voller italienischem Charme). Highlight ist natürlich der kleine aber gepflegte Balkon mit Blick auf den Dom, die Medici-Kapelle, die Dächer von Florenz und das hügelige Vorland - man vergisst manchmal, dass man ja eigentlich die Stadt angucken wollte, wenn man dort morgens oder abends verweilt. Bei der Dichte an Kirchen muss man mit viertelstündigem Glockengeläute (am Tag) rechnen - was uns nicht gestört hat. Im Gegenteilt, denn im Abendlicht entsteht dadurch eine ergreifende Stimmung. Wenn man zu dritt oder wie wir zu zweit reist aber getrennt schlafen möchte, muss man nur wissen, dass der obere Schlafraum Hochparterre liegt Dort gibt es ein richtiges (schmales) Bett, was aus den Bildern nicht so klar hervor geht), aber keinen Kleiderschrank. Dafür aber den direkten Zugang zum Balkon - für meine Mutter als Raucherin perfekt! Die Vermieterin Gaia war im Vorfeld und vor Ort immer erreichbar für Fragen. Für uns die perfekte Wohnung für unseren Aufenthalt mit absolut angemessenem Preis, die wir jederzeit wieder buchen würden!

Florence visiting 2025

Property is secure and comfortable. It is easily accessible to all Florence sites and museums. In the midst of activity but quiet inside with a great view of the city from terrace. We were able to walk everywhere. Would stay again if we return to Florence.

Charming Stay in the Heart of Florence

I had the best time with my visit to Florence. The property had all the charm of home during the middle of the Renaissance. Location is amazing. I was within walking distance of everything I wanted to see in Florence. It felt like my home away from home. I didn't realize how much I would enjoy having an elevator with us being on the third floor. This made it easy for us to depart each day and move our luggage during our arrival and departure. I highly recommend staying here.

Charming and Great Location

My mom and I spent eight wonderful nights in this lovely apartment. Let me start by saying that Gaia was an excellent host. She was kind, warm and welcoming. She was also very quick to respond to all of our questions that came up during our stay. The apartment itself is very charming and is equipped with everything you need. It was clean, well-maintained and felt like a home (thanks to Gaia’s personal touches). The building is very secure and we always felt safe. You can’t beat the location. It is within walking distance of many major attractions and is close to the train station, tram stop and many bus stops. I only have three items to mention in case they're deciding factors when selecting a place to stay. One is that the bed on the top floor is quite small (smaller than a standard Italian twin) and the mattress is a little hard, especially if you’re in the “above average” size category. Second, while the apartment is surprisingly quite considering the busy area, the gates and doors to the other apartments are quite loud when they’re closed, so if you’re a light sleeper or a little jumpy, then this could possibly startle you in the middle of the night. Lastly, guests are responsible for disposing of garbage/recycling in the city bins which are located a very short distance from the apartment. Having said that, I would definitely stay here again. Wonderful location

Gaia was welcoming and delightful. The location was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My only comment is that although the second bedroom houses only a small bed the mattress was extremely hard. It more than suited my needs but the mattress needs an upgrade.
