Gabriel was helpful, flexible and stocked the unit with all sorts of supplies which made it very comfortable. The only blemish was not knowing that the bedrooms did not have windows, which made the air a little stale during the night. Location was great, and not climbing stairs was a big plus.

The apartment was very clean, plenty of towels, excellent location. We liked the book of information including near by restaurants and bars. Loved Bitter Bar. Only issues were lack of wine glasses and no olive oil. It's Italy-we thought those items were a given. And just a note: the flat iron is not of the right voltage and the diffuser does not fit the hair dryer.

Florence Apartment

My husband and I rented the apartment from May 1 to May 31, 2025. It was expensive and didn’t match its value. The space was on the ground level with a spacious master bedroom (mattress was hard), a second bedroom which lacked privacy for another couple, a well-equipped kitchen with a gas stove, large refrigerator, dishwasher, expresso coffee maker, a large wooden kitchen table seated for 6, a large bathroom, and a small washer and dryer. A large comfortable sofa with an accompanied chair and a TV were in the living room. The furniture was worn. The supposedly garden area and patio was too moldy to enjoy. The back garden looked like a deadened forest. The outdoor furniture was unusable due to the mold and fabric disintegration. The canvas covering to the hot tub had holes and leaked. The hot tub area was too dirty to enjoy. I dislike leaving a bad review, but it is important to inform other travelers of any issues.  Al The best part of our adventure was Gabriel, the apartment manager. He greeted us upon arrival and helped us with numerous issues. My husband became ill during our stay and Gabriel retrieved a package for his oxygen concentrator, arranged for taxi services, and copied needed paperwork for our plane ride back home. I felt like we had a guide to assist us through the worst of times. Our connection with Gabriel was invaluable.

Perfect location

Not quite usable nor as comfortable as expected

There were a couple of reasons we could not use the hot tub. Mosquitos were and issue but most importantly it was lack of towels. If you shower before you get in then your towel is now wet when you get out. I like to shower after also but again you have a wet towel. The place was extremely dark and the overhead lightly was Bright white bulbs and that is not a comfortable atmosphere. Lamps would be so nice for reading and ambiance. The washing machine AND the dishwasher both leaked when used so there were even more wet towels.

Florence home base

We enjoyed staying at this updated Florence apartment. It definitely served as a "home base" for exploring Florence, Tuscany, and the surrounding areas. Gabriel was a very accommodating and helpful host who made sure we had an enjoyable stay.

Fantastic location. A few minutes from the major sites. Lovely rustic Italian apartment with the best bathroom and shower! Gabriel is very helpful and the information provided was very comprehensive but simply conveyed and timely timely.

Great place in great location

Really cool vrbo in really cool location. We were easy walking distance to everything in downtown Florence. The place was very clean and easy to stop in multiple times during the day while running around the awesome town. The host was communicative and helpful. We spent most of our time out in Florence but the actual place is great for hanging out at too. If I go back to Florence I would easily look this place up again.

Our own space in Florence

This was an amazing property to stay during our visit to Florence. For one, the shower is huge which is a real luxury in Italy. Gabriel was extremely helpful in getting us acclimated with the property and Florence. You have everything you could ever need provided. Highly recommend.

Five Star Apartment!!!

First of all, the location of this apartment is perfect for reaching all of the important sights by foot! The apartment is very roomy and has all of the things you would need. Our host, Gabriel, was so helpful! He spent a lot of time with an area map showing us the good restaurants and where to shop for food. He arranged our departure taxi to the train station, too

We will never forget our stay!

A perfect, quiet location within walking distance to Florence’s major museums and attractions. Just a couple minutes walk to the grocery store, Conad. We felt completely safe and comfortable walking around both during the day and at night. The A/C does a fantastic job of cooling the main areas (we didn’t use the 2nd bedroom so kept it closed off) and we were so blessed to walk in to a cool room after sweltering July days! We cooked dinner a couple of nights during our stay and found everything we needed to prepare meals available. A full size fidge with freezer, washer and dryer, dishwasher were all utilized. (I would recommend leaving user manuals for the appliances.) There is even an American coffee maker, YAY! Daniel did a phenomenal job getting us checked in and telling us all kinds of wonderful pointers. Gabriel was always quick to respond and answered all of our questions quickly. We will always remember our stay here fondly and if we get the chance to return, we will be back!! Thank you for everything! Great job!

Quiet Florence Apartment

The apartment is located on a quieter street away from the busier attraction areas. It is however, close to groceries, restaurants and cafes. It is also walking distance to all tourist areas and conveniently close to the bus route for the train station and other attractions. The apartment is very nice and has all the needed amenities for a very comfortable stay. Two suggestions I have for the owner: 1. Adding a microwave oven for families to re-heat leftovers 2. The master bedroom is a little dark and does not have enough lighting. A brighter master would add significantly to the apartment. Overall, our families enjoyed our stay, including watching TV during our downtime. Thank you.

Florence with a hot tub!

First of all Gabriel is the best VRBO host I have encountered. Made the process easy and informative. The unit is really set up with everything you need, from shampoos to detergents to kitchen utensils. Great location too. Beds are firm and comfy, and the shower is awesome. Do not think twice, this is the place for 4. Thanks again Gabriel, had a great time!

Don’t hesitate!

Gabriel was absolutely amazing throughout the entire stay. The property is located just at enough distance where you can enjoy the quiet, yet still walk to everything in Florence. I don’t believe the pictures do it justice!

Nous avons réservé du 30/12 au 03/01. A notre arrivée, un plombier était en train de réparer le système du chauffage et de l'eau chaude, ce qu'il a pu faire seulement le lendemain 31. Le système est tombé en panne le 02 et à notre départ le 03 nous n'avions ni chauffage, ni eau chaude. Néanmoins l'accueil de Gabriel et de son épouse a été excellent et ils ont eu la gentillesse de nous offrir une bouteille de vin. L'appartement est confortable et très bien situé dans Florennce.
