Perfect location

Great stay at the lake. The house was clean and well equipped. Everything we wanted to do was nearby. If you want to be on a lake and close to the beach this place is great.

Spring Break Getaway

The view of the lake is second to none. Cozy well loved home felt comfortable and welcoming. Well appointed. We had an amazing time. Want to visit again in the summer.

Perfect Vacation

We enjoyed especially the location by the lake. It was quiet and somewhat romantic. With the exception that the WIFI sometimes did not perform as we wished, everything was in working order.

Munsel Lake

Our children and grandchildren had a great stay at this house. House was clean and description was accurate. A few questions were answered quickly. The adults and children also had a wonderful time fishing off the dock and cooking the trout they caught. They were accompanied by a bald eagle fishing the same time as they were! Beautiful setting and house was well maintained.

Cabin feeling in Florence

Florence was one of our stops in our 3 weeks road trip in Oregon. The house was well located in a nice neighborhood by Munsel lake and far from the main road. Even tho, we experienced the true wetcoast during our stay, we really enjoyed the house with a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living rooms and TV.

Beautiful well-loved lake house

Go back in time and imagine being in a family who has a generational cabin by the lake where you go every year and relax and fish. Florence couldn't be a more beloved little town. My husband and I went for birdwatching in the area and were not disappointed. I can see why this is such a popular recreation area. The cabin has everything you need.

Great view

Loved the awesome view from the decks, and having our own dock was the best. We took our kayaks and canoe and loved being able to just get in and out at the house all weekend long. The house is a little dark and might have felt small if we would have been stuck inside because of rain or something however with nice weather and lots of seating and decks outside it was fine for us. Beautiful location

Lovely place, lovely weather, well stocked. There is NO land to enter or exit kayaks or water equipment; must go on and off the dock or away from property to boat ramp. While the furniture looks clean and nice, they sit so low it is difficult to get out of them. I even sunk to the bottom of the couch cushion sitting down and I am not a big person. We were unable to play DVD movies, couldn't make it work. But had a lovely time.

Family vacation fun

This property was perfect for our extended family. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake and had a blast at the ocean dunes. Plenty of room for our family of 8, clean and comfortable. Thanks!

Great Lake house!

We had a great time over the 4th of July weekend staying here. House was clean and close to everything in Florence. Towels for the lake and we loved the dock. Leslie was a great host and very responsive to all messages. We will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Last minute birthday

We rented the property for my dad’s birthday and he loved the location on the lake. The dock was great and the view of the lake from the windows was beautiful. It was a short drive to the beach and the bay. FYI- You have to be able to back your boat trailer up a long twisty driveway in order to park it. There’s no turning a trailer around at the house. The only downside was no railing on the top bunk, so the kids couldn’t enjoy sleeping up there.

Family getaway

Great house- the kitchen was well stocked and it fit our family well. Nice to have beds for everyone. The lake and dock are incredible- can’t wait to go back in the summer!

Labor Day Weekend Getaway

Cozy Cabin on the Lake

This cozy cabin is the perfect place to relax while enjoying drop dead views of Munsel Lake. Bring your fishing poles and kayaks to make use of the private dock. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the beds are comfy. Watch for the Bald Eagle that likes to perch above the dock in the evenings or the Osprey nesting on the far side of the lake. Cute, cozy, quaint, clean are just a few of the many ways this wonderful cabin can be described. We can’t wait to come back.

Perfect Lake Escape

This is a warm and welcoming cabin on the lake with a drop-dead view. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped and organized, including VERY sharp knives of every variety. The bed (we only used the King) was exceptional. We loved taking our drinks and snacks down to the dock to drop a line into the lake with the hopes of catching a big one. My only criticism is about the deck chairs. They should be tossed out before they become any more of a liability. We will be back this summer with our kayak. We can’t wait.
