Love this place!! We will definitely be back! It’s somewhat private, cozy and serene. The hosts are amazing! Very communicative, made sure to check on us and our stay. We didn’t want to leave. It was definitely peaceful and quiet and the time we needed away from reality.

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin. Nice hot tub. It is very private with a comfortable bed. Clean with a lot of towels. I ate all the chocolates in the frig. My hubby didn’t get one :). Host was very attentive. Thank you

Moon River was a great remote getaway, just as we expected. Flawless check in, and great communication… I had reached out before to our host the day before we arrived to explain that the hot tub and fishing from the end of the trail next to the cabin, were the goal for my girlfriend and I. The hot tub was great, clean, and as it should be…. The trail to the water…. Over grown and not walkable with rods and bags, not walkable at all… The trail had grown across itself and was just a habitat for spiders/webs and all kinds of “surprises”.I’m not a city guy, grew up in the country, and so did my girl… but it was not something we were comfortable tackling. We drove to the public points of the lake, but there was no room to fish as others had the same idea! We gave up 3 hours later… We did look around the other side of the road to our cabin and see another trail that led to the water’s edge, well kept, easy to walk and well looked after… once at the water’s edge there were small jetty’s which looked amazing, but they were private to the other vacation cabins there, not to us.You expect some bugs and what have you… we had our fair share on the ceilings in the cabin, and that’s fine, it is the country! The cabin was nicely laid out, and well presented… but could benefit from a deep clean, but our primary goal was rent this place and use it for fishing…was a waste of our time. 4 hours there and back for us, plus shopping and bait the day before we left, we had a wasted weekend.

We had the best time there!

My favorite part of the stay was the hot tub! It was super clean and the propery is set up so neat, we had complete privacy. My husband loved building a fire in the outsiden. We took a walk down the trail to the lake.

The cabin was perfectly charming and comfortable. The kitchen was adequately stocked, as was the bathroom, with plenty of towels and blankets and pillows for all sorts of comfort. We would recommend this cabin to our younger friends.

It was good. Would suggest to clear out the trail back to the cabins a little wider as my truck would barely fit and I could hear limbs scrapping up against my truck driving down it. All in all, the cabin was great!

The perfect little getaway for Justin’s birthday weekend. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. We enjoyed it not being too far from stores but also far enough from the city. We will be back in the future!

Nice & Simple

This is a great place for two to getaway and relax. It rained for most of our stay, but we made the most of it hanging out on the front porch under the trees and watching movies late into the night. It is very quiet and has a secluded feel even though there are other cabins nearby. We'll be back.

Just wanted a quiet get away and we found the perfect place here. We had so much fun walking through the woods, fishing, sitting by the fire, and the hot tub was warm and cozy. We definitely will be going back.
