The layout of the upstairs and downstairs were great with plenty of room for our family. Cleanliness and instructions were top notch.our family loved the home and the location. We have already discussed returning at a future date.

Fantastic cabin very clean comfy and nice. Enjoyed game room. Only thing that was difficult was the entry door for the home was not in a very convenient location. But overall the property was great. Not to high up mountain either easy access.

Beautiful home!

This home exceeded our expectations! We were in town for the holiday weekend, but seeking a different area than the town of Boone. The home was perfect! It’s a short distance to Boone and West Jefferson, very clean, plenty of space, and a great porch to enjoy coffee in the morning and a nice glass of wine in the evening. Even spoke with the homeowner and he was so kind and accommodating. Perfect fpr a long weekend or a nice vacation.

Amazing property!

We spent 2 nights in this gorgeous property! Our daughter graduated from App State on Saturday at 9 AM. This location was ideal as it was a short drive to the convocation center yet away from the heavy traffic and crowded hotels in downtown Boone. With 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, there was plenty of room! We had a family brunch at the cabin after graduation, and the kitchen was completely equipped with everything we needed to cook and entertain. The pool table was a hit too! We will definitely stay again!!

Nice pre-holiday getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed at quick weekend pre-holiday getaway in Fleetwood. The location is perfect for a day in charming West Jefferson and a few days in Boone. The home was spacious, nicely furnished, and very clean. The host was available for our questions. The only recommendation we would make is to add lamps and mirrors in all the bedrooms. We hope to return in the Spring!

Great stay!

I loved sitting on the porch and drinking coffee. It was very quiet and the views were gorgeous! My grand babies also enjoyed looking at the deer that came up to the back porch. I had an issue with locking myself out of the cabin and thankfully the owner responded quickly!

Wedding at The Barn on New River

The property location was great, looking out over the valley to the mountains and paved roads. The home is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. It could use some additional appointments like bedside lamps in all the bedrooms and perhaps mirrors in the two guest bedrooms. Also, with elderly parents who couldn’t go to the basement a dining table would be helpful to gather at for games and conversation. The hosts are very responsive and answered a question very quickly. All in all, we would return in the future.

Great place - great view

We were there for our daughter's graduation from App State. It was a great place for family members to gather to celebrate that event. There were no major issues with the property. We knew there was work going on in the basement and that was not a bother. We would have liked to have had more mirrors. With 6 people staying and only mirrors in the bathrooms, it was difficult to get timing right. A full-length mirror in each of the bedrooms would have been nice. There was damage to the drywall in each of the bedrooms where the doorknobs hit the wall. This is because there were no door stops to prevent the knobs from hitting the drywall. we had to be very careful not to add to the damage. We did take pictures of the damage on our day of arrival as I normally do, but this was the most obvious. Also there was some damage in the bathroom wall to the left of the door as you walk in. The fireplace was great to have on the cooler nights. The view from the deck was fantastic! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could have needed - but they were out of pepper. Loved the layout of the island and the bar seats! All-in-all it was a great place to stay!

Peaceful and comfy little trip

We came up for just a couple nights to get away with the family before the holidays hit. It was a perfect little retreat into the mountains. The house was clean and neat, and had most all the amenities you could want. The host was extremely open and available to with communicating. And best of all the views were incredible. Would stay again

Family Christmas

My family spent 4 days in beautiful Fleetwood enjoying the peace of the holiday in a gorgeous home. The house was spacious, decorated with cabin decor that wasn't overdone. The kitchen was well equipped and had plenty of room for several of us to work together to prepare meals for our family. The downstairs restroom was used by all and we enjoyed the pool table and ping pong table. Fun was had by all. The fireplace was perfect for our yuletide celebration. Easy and festive. We all agreed that we would be delighted to return and share another holiday here in this lovely home. The communication was clear and easy from the owner. They were excellent to work with. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed our stay.

The property was nice and as described. Plenty of room to spread out. Fireplace did not work but we brought it to the owners attention and he’s working on it. It did not appear that the cleaners swept between bookings as you could see crumbs across the floor walking up the stairs. I’m betting that this is something the owner was not aware of. Owners communicated great and were very helpful. We’d stay here again.

Views better then advertised!

Everything about the house was as advertised and awesome. Our family loved the views, porch and game room. Easy access to Boone/West Jefferson and the parkway. Made it comfortable and easy to explore and make it home by nap time for the lil-one. Plenty of space to spread out and and the game room was great to let loose. We will be booking again next year and recommending for other friends to check out.

Beautiful home with a great view!

Spent 4 wonderful nights in this cabin! The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet and the house was immaculate. The views from the expansive deck were breathtaking, and it’s perfectly situated for many adventures in the area. Just a stones throw away from the Blue Ridge Parkway and all that has to offer. Boone just down the road which has many great restaurants and shopping opportunities. Owners are very friendly and quick to respond. I highly recommend this cabin and definitely plan on renting again!

We enjoyed our stay. The location was very convenient to activities we participated in biking ,hiking and tubing. We enjoyed watching sunsets and beautiful views from the large spacious deck. Very nice vacation home and owners were great about corresponding during our stay.
