"Clean, tidy with comfortable bed and nice brekkie"

"We love this place, we have stayed a few times. Staff are lovely and friendly. Food is plentiful and hot. The only thing that ruined it this time were some other guests who thought it was ok to make as much noise from about 12.30 to 2am shouting, slamming doors and banging about in their rooms. There was absolutely no consideration for any of the other guests. They knew in the morning it was them but not one of them apologised for their behaviour.

"We have stayed here a couple of times , they go above and beyond to make it a pleasant stay, they also include an excellent breakfast plus another nice touch is the tipple in the room ,"

"Wonderfully comfortable garden rooms. Staff were very helpful. Food was excellent. Will definitely return 🙂"

"Beautiful country pub type hotel. Quaintand very tastefully presented. Lovely room, comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. If i have any negative it is minor. The windows were not double glazed and neded a bit of paint. Otherwise excellent"

"Nice enough - the room was ok but quite dated, no tv and could do with a redecorate. But nice location and limited choice in Godalming"

"Comfy stay and very well-located with a fabulous breakfast - will be back!"

"A wonderful hotel with serene green spaces in a royal atmosphere. I had to work overnight and the gentleman at night desk went above and beyond to help me with an additional TV screen and a place to work at. Simply unbelievably helpful and way beyond my expectations. My wife and kid had a great time in the gardens. I highly recommend this place if you´re out to get some relaxation."

"Very helpful staff. Excellent breakfast."

"Positive surprise for a refurbished hotel in a pub, the atmosphere downstairs in the bar & food is great"
