"Walter was quick and kind in his responses, which we really appreciated. He even allowed us to check in early, which made our short stay much more convenient. The place was clean and comfortable for our one-night stay. We enjoyed being able to walk to the Shiner Ice House and then over to the Shiner Brewery. Overall a good stay. Sadly, did not have the opportunity to use the spa in the private backyard."

"Arrived at 3:00 pm for scheduled check-in with two 6-yr-olds in need of afternoon nap after a day of hiking. I walked much of the property in search of a host, finally knocked on a trailer home door.
