Perfect Weekend Stay

Clean, roomy, and quiet—such a perfect place to serve as our home base while visiting the Hendersonville area. This house was in the perfect location for us. We could not have asked for a better stay!

Cozy and Comfy

We enjoyed our stay in this historic cottage which has been carefully and tastefully renovated. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen very nice for making some of our meals. The location is close to all the orchards, hiking and historic sites and downtown Hendersonville.

Wonderful weekend

Me and my family had a wonderful weekend at this home. We had everything we needed and the location couldn’t have been more perfect. Check-in/check-out process was simple and easy. The master king bed was so comfy after a long day of hiking/swimming at hooker falls and walking around downtown Hendersonville. Would def recommend this property to friends and family!

Cute little house

This was a great little house. It was well equipped and even had K-cups and sweetner already stocked. This little extra touch was a great. The house was super cute and we actually ran into the owner who has a house on property and he let my son feed the fish in the pond that is on property. Great experience.

Flat Rock Getaway

Traveled with family to the apple orchards and activities in the area of Hendersonville. Home is welcoming, comfortable and has anything you might need. We did have a small problem that was handled swiftly. The pond, on property, with a fountain is a plus.

Beautiful home in a great location

The home was beautiful in a scenic central location. The house was very clean, wonderfully decorated and had very thoughtful items available. We were a 25 minute drive from Lake Lure, 15 mins from Hendersonville. The only bump we had was not recieving the code to get into the home. We were able to call the VRBO 800 number and after about 20 minutes on the phone we were able to get the information. We are already trying to plan the next girls weekend at the property!!

Close and Quiet

The cabin was just what we needed. It was cozy but spacious and fully stocked. It’s very close to popular areas in the Asheville region but tucked away and quiet as well. Enjoyed our stay.

Cozy, clean & quiet

This was an excellent find! The house was clean and organized, the beds were comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet and close to the interstate. My kids also loved the selection of board games and the different rooms where they could play (mostly the sunroom, the room at the entrance and the living room). It had everything we needed for a quick breakfast before we headed out to see family. We all woke up well-rested and ready for the day’s adventures! Also, it was very easy to communicate with the owner and she was super kind and accommodating to a last minute request. I’m so happy we stayed here and would definitely stay here again in the future.

Perfect house and base camp for a family getaway in mountains. The king bed was heavenly and house had everything we needed. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Another great stay.

Love this house! It’s our second visit and it is close to family. The home is provided with all the amenities that anyone would need and more. Close to restaurant’s, shopping, fuel and the freeway. We are already looking at our next return visit. Thank you so much for allowing us to use this home.

Cozy house

We really enjoyed our stay in Flat Rock. Close to downtown Hendersonville. Also convenient to the interstate for the short drive to Asheville. House is very clean and as advertised.

Wonderful

We had a wonderful stay at the property. It's conveniently located to everything yet has a country feel. It's quiet and there are some nice outdoor spaces with a firepit and picnic pavillion. The owner is building a house next to the rental so there is activity during the weekdays but we were out most of the day and it never started before 8am. Plus, the owners are welcoming and friendly. The home is a 1940's build but completely renovated with lovely touches throughout. The decor is cute and cozy. We especially loved the two covered porches! It's comfortable and super clean with everything you need for your stay. Debra went above and beyond making sure there were thoughtful extras like snacks, a new kitchen sponge for each stay, paper products, a massage chair, extra toiletries etc. Sometimes with vacation rentals the pots and pans are so scratched up you can't even use them. Not so here! The pots and pans were new and I cooked every day. It's a really beautiful kitchen space too. You will feel right at home here and we would definitely stay again!

Great Place to Stay

Three day stay to visit family in Hendersonville. Big house for two but well worth it. Close to everything we need. The house was well stocked with whatever you might need. I'm sure we will be back again. Little more costly then the hotels but with COVID lingering around, this was a no brainer. Thank you for letting us stay in a great house with some historic modifications that you will see once you stay in charming home.

Amazing Cabin

My family and I had an absolutely amazing time while staying at this adorable VRBO in Flat Rock. From the great linens to the comfortable beds to the awesome outdoor fireplace where we spent every night - we had a great time and can not wait to head back!

Great Extended Weekend Getaway

Enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. The house was very clean and comfortable. Great small touches such as comfy sheets and bedding and thick towels. Location was close to Hendersonville and lots of great hiking. Only complaint was that the kitchen could have been better stocked with pots and cooking utensils as it would have been extremely difficult to cook our meals in if we were staying for a full week. We would definitely come back!
