The reason I did not leave a 5 star review is because of several attempts to fix the TV and no one at VRBO took it seriously... until I texted the owners (whom I know) and they contacted VRBO. NONE of my messages that had very clear instructions on what was required were passes along to the local VRBO staff. When the tech arrived, he had no idea what was wrong or what I had informed VRBO over the prior 3 days.

Hurricane Helene

This is at least the fifth time I’ve posted a review and/or communicated about the fact that these dates encompasses Hurricane Helene’s deadly path into the exact area of our VRBO. To think that no refund is even a consideration, even a partial one, still astounds me. We did not travel due to the storm and never set foot in the rental.

Beautiful Cottage in Flat Rock

This is the second time we have stayed at this sweet cottage in Flat Rock. It has been renovated to the highest standard and is spotless and comfortable. We have never stayed anywhere that is better equipped than Cozy Pines and look forward to our next stay.

Best little cottage in Flat Rock!

This is my favorite place to stay in Hendersonville. I am from the area but live in California and go back often. The house and surrounding acreage is beautiful and relaxing. Highly recommend it.

Lovely cottage, beautiful setting and all the amenities. We loved the area of flat rock. Many, many walking and hiking trails. 10 minutes to Hendersonville. We will go again

Beautiful and relaxing

Beautiful place, great location, we stayed for two weeks while kids were in and out of summer camps, and never got tired. Beautiful porch overlooking a grass area, big tree and pond, we spent a lot of time relaxing there. Kitchen very well equipped and everything is super new.

Great Cottage

This is a great cottage in a really nice setting. The recent renovation was well done with a beautiful new kitchen and bath. The kitchen was well stocked except for dish washer soap. The dining chairs and stools were hard and uncomfortable for me but otherwise I loved it and would stay here again. I did have an issue with communication they VRBO to the property manager Vacasa. After hearing no reply to my questions I called Vacasa directly. They had not been given my inquiry. They were very helpful and responded quickly to my questions with the same person calling me back. Next time I will skip VRBO and go directly through Vacasa.

Nice and Comfortable

A very clean, well appointed house with a wonderful porch over looking a nice calming pond. A couple of issues; wrong door code and erronous wi-fi password were resolved with calls to management. Also, driving directions had the property adjacent to the wrong gate neighborhood...it's Berwick, not Kemore!

Fantastic house, not great management

What a fantastic home! Despite its location fronting a rural highway, it was peaceful and relaxing and only a short 2 minute drive to Rainbow Row in Flat Rock for wonderful meals and shopping. Extremely clean, tastefully and comfortably furnished. There were some unwelcomed surprises, all centered around the professional management company. The WiFi code provided in the long email from the management company was completely incorrect and the management company did not have the correct code. I ended up finding it on the bottom of the router. I let the management company know the correct router name and p/w, so hopefully they correct that data for future guests. Check-out instructions ask guests to start a load of towels when leaving, but no laundry detergent was provided. When I called to ask if I was overlooking it, they said they don't provide it and I should go to the grocery store to get some. A bit inconvenient if you don't realize this until the night before (or morning of) and nothing in the listing mentioned I'd need to do this. Because I checked out on a Friday, I was instructed to leave the trash cans "at the curb". The house is on a highway, and I didn't see cans at the end of other driveways, so I hope I did the right thing by following the instructions. It's a rather long driveway and the previous guests left a lot of trash, so again a little inconvenient when trying to leave before check-out. Lastly, I left two nice reusable water bottles in the refrigerator by mistake and didn't realize it until 10 minutes before my required 10am checkout. I called the management company again and asked if I could go back to the house to pick them up about 30 minutes after checkout to collect them or pick them up from outside if the cleaning team was inside working. I was told absolutely not and, if the cleaning team located them, they'd have to be mailed to me at cost. This seemed unfairly inflexible, and inconvenient for me since I likely won't be home when, and if, they are mailed back. I don't even know if a tracking number will be provided. Other management teams in the area servicing other VRBO rentals have been easier to work with. Again, great home, but it would have been a better experience with a more helpful management company.
