The downside was the shower was lukewarm and we couldn't increase the temperature. Also, the communication wasn't great. There was no info about where to collect or leave the key. "traditional pub with very friendly staff and good quality food. the flat is above the pub but has its own entrance. You can hear people downstairs but this didn't disturb us. We ate both evening we were there and it was excellent and very good value. The flat is in the oldest part of the pub and as such the door frames are low but the ceilings are fine. There was everything we needed and it was nice and clean. Very good value for 2 couples."

The hosts were helpful and the setting is idyllic with pheasants and wildlife all around. Close to lots of forest walks and to local pubs and to the pretty village of Petworth.
