When we arrived there were police and ambulances blocking the entrance. We had to wait about half an hour to enter. The people crowding around us were very suspicious.

Well when I checked in to the Extended Stay at 25 Merritt Blvd in Fishkill NY, the guy behind the desk seemed like he had an attitude, he tried to charge me per night, when I had already told him that I was checking in and that I already had reservations, I showed him my phone with my reservation details, it seemed like he didn't know what he was doing honestly, then he asked if I had a pet and was it a service animal, I told him yes I have a cat 😺 and no not a service animal, then he tried to charge me for my pet, I told him that the other hotel, same name, didn't charge me, then finally he gave me my room key 🗝️, I go to the room and the room is already occupied, so I go back downstairs and tell him he gave me keys to an occupied room and he said oh sorry 😔, I was really upset already, so he finally gives me the right key to the room, this took like almost 30 minutes to check into my room, honestly I was really upset and it shouldn't have happened to begin with

Arrive and the room I booked on hotels.com was not available. Was told I had to pay an up charge to get a room. Had no choice after driving hours to get there. Weird room. Only 1 bedside lamp for a queen sized bed in a suite. No AC or fan in the bedroom at all. Kitchen floor was dirty and the stove looked ancient (glad we did not need to cook).

Room was not ready for a long time. Hotel was noisy into the night. Only soap and tissues provided. Mattress was terrible. I felt it every time my husband moved. But our backs did okay. Pillows were okay. Shower curtain and pictures were okay. Couldn’t turn a/c fan off. Thank goodness for earplugs. TV had no sound.

I really can't answer this because the hotel overbooked my room and I had to drive 10 more miles and get another room at another hotel chain for double the money. There was no manager on duty and the chains "guest relations" hung up on me.... I just asked repeatedly what they were going to do to resolve this and they said there was nothing they could do . Really very unexceptable.

This is an older property, severely in need of updating. Room amenities are basic and although clean, desperately in need of repairs, cracked countertops and flooring, dresser drawers open on their own, pull out couch very squeaky and no bedding was provided. No toiletries provided. The night staff was very nice. The morning front desk staff member was on a FaceTime call the entire time I was trying to talk to her. No one had replenished the breakfast items, no hot water (how hard is that?!?), she was upset about other staff and complained loudly, using profanity, remaining on her private FaceTime call the entire time she was doing this task. Breakfast was a joke, packaged muffins, packets of oatmeal and granola bars. Coffee, yes, but the hot water carafe was empty both mornings I was there. The cleaning gal in the morning was very nice.

Wouldn’t stay here again!
Advertised breakfast, but had only coffee, hot chocolate, oatmeal pouches and granola bars. Rooms are very dated, thus was an emergency trip for a funeral. If given more time to find accommodations, I likely would not choose this hotel again. Check in staff were great though!

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Continental breakfast left a lot to be desired so don’t expect anything beyond oatmeal, granola bars and coffee. Conveniently located near a Walmart in case you need anything. Room was cozy and clean with very bare minimum essentials, but it served the purpose for my stay.

Worst experience at a supposed reputable hotel.
Staff was not easily accessible. Checked in late Friday and the whole first floor smelled of pot smoke. We were on the 3rd floor which smelled of cigarette smoke. There were no sheets, blankets, or pillows for the pull-out. No pillows available at front desk when i asked. The sink in the room was clogged, disposal was broken, there was no hot water. The furnishings were extremely warn. Parking was scarce. Friday night and Saturday night there were multiple cars in the parking lot being utilized as pot smoking locations most of the night multiple people coming and going. Monday morning when checking out the pot smell was miraculously gone. But, front desk staff was more concerned with sitting with her male friend on the lobby couch than assisting me. Horrible customer service. Horrible experience. The owner should be ashamed of this place and its staff.

The property was clean but not the reservation I made. I was not expecting this and did not have my laptop with me to fix the issue as I did not check the verification until time to check in.
