We had a great stay with family over the Christmas holiday. The house was exactly as advertised. Mgmt company was available to answer any questions or issues. I did not like that all communication was outside of VRBO and to fully book the property a separate (and very extensive) rental agreement had to be executed.

We loved this house! The beds were amazing—tons of room for everyone, beautiful views, ping pong and pool downstairs, and the most extensive gaming system I have ever seen. I didn’t know how it worked but it kept so many teenagers and kids entertained when we had some downtime. There is an electric car charging station in the garage which was also handy. We loved the huge windows-the house was light and bright. Plenty of area in the kitchen and deck for huge groups to eat dinner. Almost every bedroom had a bathroom close to it so several families could have separate spaces. Great for a family reunion.

Beat Lake Stay Spring Break

The house was okay. The view of the lake is not accurately described in the booking pictures. The newly built neighboring house takes away 80% of the view of the lake. The main reason that we booked this specific house was because of the view described in the pictures. The BBQ grill needs to be cleaned. Sone of the doors and windows do not lock properly. And the temperature in the lower level and main level is very different and it runs off the same thermostat located on the main level. While the main level is too hot, the lower level is freezing at night.

Great location, Great host

We really enjoyed our time staying here, we come every year as a company and get around 5 cabins for about 200 people and we are always so pleased and have always enjoyed working with Bear Lake Luxury Rentals. Host's are super communicative and quick at responding and super easy to work with. This Lodge has so many fun things to do; hot tub, games, pool, ping pong, you name it and they had it. Will definitely be returning! Thanks for having us!

Mediocre-not luxury

I booked this expecting a “luxury” home experience, but our stay fell short of expectations. While the home is beautiful and large, the house was not adequately cleaned upon arrival. The hot tub was non-functional throughout our stay, and several amenities were missing (no basic soap in the showers). I suppose I just expected as a “luxury” listing there would be a higher level of cleanliness & attention. While the host did reply within 24 hours there was never an effort to remedy the condition. As we were there on vacation the last thing we wanted to do was hang around and wait to meet a property manager. The listing makes you feel lake access is close at hand. Actually you need to drive several miles to find lake access. The BBQ grill was disgustingly filthy and needed a thorough cleaning before use. We spent 20-30 minutes cleaning it before we felt comfortable cooking our meal on it. When I mentioned it to the host, she simply thanked me for our efforts to clean it. The vent hood in the kitchen was loaded with grease and dead mosquitos - I am sure it hasn’t been cleaned recently. The pool queues (necessary for playing) were broken. Young grandkids still played even though the cues have no “tips” on them. Despite contacting the host about these issues, no solutions or remedies were offered. I would not recommend this listing if you’re seeking luxury for your stay. It will accommodate a large family. Expect mediocre cleanliness & attention & a 15 minute lake drive.

Amazing House!!!

Every year we look for a property that will accommodate our family of 19 for a summer reunion. This property was probably the best we’ve ever stayed at. The owners thought out every detail for a comfortable stay. The house is perfectly designed for large groups and tastefully decorated with high quality furniture. There are plenty of extremely comfortable beds, a large well equipped kitchen with plenty of seating. Ample outdoor gathering areas with a beautiful view of the lake. We enjoyed the two game rooms playing pool, ping pong and basketball. The property is close to ATV trails as well as the lake. The hot tub was great after a long day of riding. We will definitely stay here again.

Fun in the snow

Although this place is beautiful and we did have a fantastic time there were some major hiccups. The fireplace couldn’t be turned on with it being 5 degrees outside, the propane on the grill was empty so we couldn’t cook what was planned for dinner Friday night, the hot tub was locked in its setting so we couldn’t get it warm and when we arrived to the house it was 58 degrees of which we needed to heat up. I will say by Saturday late morning after we called all the items were resolved but the fireplace however all should have been ready for us before we got there. If you plan to have wine or an adult beverage this place is not prepared or stocked for you at all. If you wear makeup they don’t want you to use their white towels but didn’t provide anything else for you to use. The bathrooms are not stocked at all so make sure you bring everything you use inside and outside the shower as well as a blow dryer. On the other hand if there is enough snow and cold like we had during our stay the road right next to the house was the best sledding hill for a bunch of crazy wanna be young adults having a little Valentines fun. The views out all the back windows are spectacular!!

Beautiful Property!

Would stay here again! Excellent property! Owners did a great job with all the beds and bedding. House really does sleep a lot of people! Kids loved all the games available in the home. Love the layout of the home and all the seating in the kitchen and family room.
