Great hotel in the heart of Windermere, short walk to lake where boats go on the trips and close to shops. Slight hill getting back up to hotel. Lovely cocktail bar, pub and eating areas. Underwhelming. This is a very ordinary hotel, despite the hot tubs, pool and spa. The decor is vile, all dull browns with turquoise.
