"The little cottages are very well thought out; just like a caravan, you really have everything you need. It's like camping, except everything is there and you only need a sleeping bag and towels (although you can get them from the owner for a small extra charge). What we liked best was the large tripod grill that each cottage has. For 5 pounds you can take firewood from a box and grill anything you've bought at the supermarket. "The apartment is completely refurbished and the furniture is new. It is incredibly well equiped for long stays (specially the kitchen), and the owner is always helpful and kind, with good communication every time. The bedroom has a pretty good matress, and the shared living room is charming and comfortable (with a 3D TV and plenty of films available to see). Also, a Nairn is a quiet and good place to stay while visiting the whole of the Highlands."

"This was a great place to stay for our group of twelve. There are plenty of bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, a huge dining room, two family rooms, and many places to hang out together or get away for some privacy. The showers are all heat-on-demand, so you never have to wait for hot water. The kitchen is large and well stocked. We had some trouble with the washing machine, but the host was responsive and delivered a substitute washer the same day. We would definitely come back."
