  • Welcome to Dudley's Retreat - part of the Bay Filey Holiday Village it is ideal for couples or a growing family with children.

    Enter into the hallway with space to hang your gear after a day at the beach!

    Decorated throughout in early 2024 to a high standard and featuring refreshed bathroom, new furniture, carpets and bed this is a lovely apartment for a short or long break.

    Off the hallway is a refreshed family bathroom with shower over and a spacious bedroom with comfy king size bed, new carpets and smart tv and lots of storage.

    In the lounge diner you will find a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, 3* freezer box, washer dryer, dishwasher, oven, hob, air-fryer and microwave plus plenty of cookware for family breaks.

    The dining area comfortably sits 3 at the table.

    The lounge area features a large TV (SMART) with comfy sofa (sofa bed) which can be selected at checkout for use for children or a third guest.

    Travel Cot and High Chair are available for use free of charge (own bedding required).

    We leave a few games for our guests to use. This warm and cosy apartment is ideal for breaks all year round.

    -Access to plentiful parking nearby
    -Highchair, Travel Cot, Iron & Board and Hairdryer (bedding for cot needed)

    -Note - Sofa Bed - this will accommodate 1 child or 1 adult - this apartment is ideally suited for 2 adults in the bedroom and the sofa bed is for occasional use
    -Price includes bedding and towels for each guest (except infant), high speed wi-fi, and all energy use (fair usage policy applies)

    This property is part of The Bay Holiday Village and all bookings gain direct beach access, unlimited use of The Bay Filey Indoor Pool, Baby Pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Gym. Some amenities are chargeable locally like food and drink, tennis and any activities operated by Away Resorts such as Archery and Crafts.

    The owners (Jonathan and Family) look forward to welcoming you to their coastal escape.

Short autumn stay

We took our son’s dog here whilst away on honeymoon, very impressed with apartment, condition, cleanliness and decor/fittings. We enjoyed our 2 nights and would definitely return.

Great apartment with everything you need

Very clean, comfortable apartment with everything you need for an enjoyable break. Great base to explore Flambrough, Filey etc with the beach, a bar & restaurant and a shop all close by. Have already booked another stay so would not hesitate to recommend this apartment

Superb apartment and excellent all round stay.

Dudley's Retreat is a wonderful apartment on The Bay. We have stayed in a number of properties there and this is by far our favourite. Check in and pre-information was clear and concise. The attention to detail is excellent with all the cooking equipment you could need. It was super clean when we arrived and everything you need to keep it that way is in the apartment. All linen and bedding was great quality and the wifi is also excellent if anyone needed to work. This has genuinely been really well thought out for their guests and is a credit to the owners. We would wholeheartedly recommend. The dog also loved it :-)

Autumn break

Lovely place to stay had everything we could of needed well equipped kitchen and the bed was lovely and comfy like a cloud great welcome pack lovely and quiet and very dog and people friendly close to beach and a little shop which is a bit overpriced but has everything we could you need the bar in sight is very expensive and I wouldn’t use it but plenty of pubs a short drive which do great home cooked food
