"As all the other reviews have mentioned, the property is located on a hillside with spectacular views. Our room was for 3 people and the only view from the room was through the wooden blinds over a window. "

"This is a remote place to stay, small, quiet, old and charming. It’s really only suitable for a couple maybe with children. The owner was there to meet us. He was thorough in acquainting us with the place and its amenities. We loved it. A real step back in time. "

"The property was a comfortable transition from a regular hotel room. We enjoyed the outdoor patios and used the kitchen for breakfast 2 days and the washing machine several times. The only issue was the third floor stairs after a steady hill climb- for those with mobility issues- this property would be impossible. We hope to return next year. "

"Lots of steps but totally worth every step. The upstairs bedroom with window open, listening to the sea - it’s just a dream. Loved the cute kitchen and we made several meals here with ingredients from stores just a short walk away. We hope to be back next year!"

"We had some difficulty opening the door initially but the staff came very fast to help us with it, which we greatly appreciated. We mainly communicated to them via Whatsapp. The room is very luxurious, big and modern and clean. The amount of amenities provided is insane. They even have a dishwasher in the room! The wifi was also strong which is a win. One downside is that there is no lift. You have to climb up a flight of stairs with your luggages to reach the apartment."

"Our stay at Casa del Borgo was pleasant. We had good communication w/host as very responsive. We did not realize how remote the air b n b was, but it made for a private cozy getaway. Renata left great suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. she even made dinner reservations for us! "This is a beautiful house with the most spectacular view down the valley! Kids and adults loved the pool, either jumping in repeatedly or relaxing on the sun loungers. The house itself is huge, well equipped and a cool escape when the temperature rose. The location of the house is on a road but that didn’t bother us. "This is a very unique and once in a lifetime place to stay. It is a 10-15 minute walk along the cliffs above the sea to reach the historic cottage. It is definitely a bit rustic, but an authentic experience. We visited the towns of Cinque Terre which were very touristy and it was a relief to return to this isolated location with amazing views. "Renata was a wonderful host. She went above and beyond to make our stay an enjoyable one. Her home is lovely with 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths and more than enough space for the 3 of us. The garden was beautiful and a nice place to enjoy the lovely weather we had during our visit. "Our stay in La Spezia was perfect to stay and have for a home base to sight see in Cinque Terre by train. The station, La Spezia Centrale, was less than 10 minutes, which is very convenient. The property was well taken care of and suited our needs. There’s a tiny lift for luggage but is great so you’re not lugging your luggage up the stairs. The road to get to the property is super narrow, but we had Maserati Levante and it fit through the tunnel. Would definitely recommend!!!"

"We were so pleased to find a rental located in the quaint village of Corniglia. The place was clean and the terrace on the rooftop had breathtaking views of the coastline. We did not receive check in instructions until the day of arrival so we would have preferred communication in advance. The showers are quite small and there are steps to manage with your luggage but we managed without any difficulty. We were overall very pleased with the rental and would visit again."

"We loved everything about this lovely home from home. The location was perfect and so peaceful, the host met us nearby and explained everything fully. We loved sitting on the balcony at night with a nice wine, being entertained by the fireflies. I wish we had stayed longer, it was heartbreaking to leave. Highly recommend this magical place."

"Perfect location for visiting cinque terre, 5 mins walk to the station and 5 mins walk to the main town of spezia. Friendly staff and helpful reception. Only snag is the breakfast, 1st was excellent but 2nd and 3rd deteriorated. Not sure if you just need to be early to get the good stuff or something."
