My partner and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. The cabin was extremely comfortable; we appreciated the heated floors, fireplaces, soft bedding, and well-stocked kitchen. We loved the hot tub, very easy to operate and only steps from the living room. The whole property was super quiet and we had a ton of privacy. During our stay, there was over 7" of snow that had us worried about being able to drive out, but thankfully the host was quick to respond and had the driveway plowed, and there was a shovel we were able to use as well. We were also comfortable just staying in the cabin the whole weekend, didn't feel the need to drive anywhere.Our only minor complaint was that there were a lot of ladybugs in the upstairs bedroom, not bothersome but we'd just notice them sitting on the floor. The hosts did leave a note that they were aware of this and that they regularly spray the unit for bugs, so not a ton that could be done there.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this cabin and would definitely come back.

Host was very kind and communicative. Amenities were spectacular. We loved the hot tub, even in sub-zero weather! The cabin was so cozy with the two fireplaces and we loved the little features like the heated toilet seats and heated bathroom floor. Exactly what we wanted out of a cozy cabin weekend away.

Everything about the stay was made so easy by the hosts. Instructions were very clear and the house was beautiful. Loved everything about it, the hot tub and fireplace were both wonderful. We'd absolutely love to return in the future

Our stay was great at the Hidden Gem. The house matched the pictures perfectly. The host reached out to us to make sure that everything was to our likeing. The beds were comfortable, the nice was a great size for our group. The screened in porch was great for storing our outdoor gear. The hot tub was a great feature after a long day outdoors. Showers and water pressure was great also. We have been coming to the area for the last 9 years and this was our first time with this host. There property far exceeded our other property that we had been renting. We will be booking with them again next year for sure.

It was quiet and the hot tub was great. We came to relax. To be comfortable and unwind. It was just okay. We wouldn't stay here again. Never could get more than two of the lights in the living room to turn on. Tried every switch. Every surface covered in layers of home interior decoration crap. ALL the pans were badly worn out and were terribly cheap---awful to cook even just as egg for breakfast in. There is a sign about hand washing pans. Would have thought that meant decenct pans---nope. It was a joke. Not a single dponge or brush for washing dishes.TV is mounted so incredibly high it is a pain to watch. Couches look comfy but are NOT---you sink WAY in to these hideabeds. Upstairs bed was not comfortable at all, like a 20 year old lumpy spring mattress. Bed creaks loudly just sitting on it. Shower is full of rust, kitchen area above stove is greasy and dirty.Toilet paper is the thinnest made variety. No kleenex. Again, cheap and not comfortable.The minisplit heaters are incredibly loud and the one in the kitchen rattles incessantly.Said there are trails. Left no map. We could see the trails but it was unclear which are this property's and which are the neighbor's.

Wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature! The hot tub was a plus along with the wrap around porch. Everything inside was nice and very clean. The host/owner was easy to contact and responded quickly. We hope to return again.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Hidden Gem cabin. The entire cabin was very clean and comfortable. The wrap around porch is a great place to sit and relax. The hot tub was perfect for the cool evening. The location is perfect, secluded and peaceful. We will definitely recommend this property to our friends if they are visiting the driftless area.

Beautiful cabin in the woods

Super clean, well equipped, had everything we needed in the kitchen and bedrooms (dishware, silverware, cooking untensils, pillows, blankets, etc.). The hot tub and fire pit were perfect for the evenings. We loved how secluded the place was. Very thankful to the owners for allowing us to be their guest!

We were in the area for a wedding reception, and luckily found this house. Immaculate property with everything you would want in a house whether it is a short stay, or extended period of time. A very clean house and everything provided, with a relaxing hot tub being a bonus. Communication throughout was perfect - you would be lucky to have a chance to stay here!
