"We loved our stay in the cottage. My wife now wants me to build one just like it somewhere. Big enough to not feel cramped, but not too big to where it becomes expensive. The screened patio was enjoyable, we ate dinner and breakfast there. The AC worked great and was very comfortable inside!"

"Such a cool space! Set right in the heart of Humboldt's famous redwoods, but only a quick drive to town (Fieldbrook, Blue Lake especially) and SUPER peaceful. We had plenty of floor space for my bestie to set up an air mattress as well. Hosts were super friendly and accommodating - would love to come back again sometime soon!"

"Wonderful small book group reunion hosted here. Well stocked kitchen and dining area and comfy areas for conversation. Love the bedrooms and natural light. Lovely to get eggs and milk at the neighborhood farm. We enjoyed Brick & Fire Bistro, the Sequoia Park Zoo & Garden, and Arcata Farmers Market. We hope to return next year"

"This was an anniversary getaway to the coastal/redwood area. We are somewhat familiar with the area, so welcomed a more remote stay location. This was the one!We were happily welcomed by the property owners and their cute dachshunds, who led the way from their main house to the cottage. We were given the tour with gracious hospitality. Long story shortened, pics do not do this property justice. The cottage was lovely, painstakingly constructed, as well as adorned. If a couple can't get comfy...

"My husband and I and our Old Lady dog stayed for a long weekend. Such a lovely location! The orchard around the property was full of apple trees. We watched an amazing sunset from the Sky Deck. And we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the local beaches and redwood forests. Very beautiful. Very relaxing. The home has everything you need for your stay. "

"Everything inside the Suite was excellent. Outside the stairs and deck could use some attention. Boards will need replacing soon and keeping the spiderwebs swept off of the handrail would make it nicer to use the first time you use it. As I said the suite is lovely and I’d stay there again. Stayed 10 nights. "

"Pues en un inicio mal por diversos detalles que por fortuna lograron corregir al dia siguiente. Creo que la actitud del personal de apoyo y mantenimiento, trato de compensar muy bien las fallas pero aun asi, dejando de lado el aspecto humano, la infraestructura del hotel aun con la remodelación queda abajo en la espectativa. Un detalle tan basico como el que, en este tipo de lugares vas prácticamente a dormir y usar el baño y pues no convenció. Consejo: consigan inodoros mas grandes porque esos que estan colocando, parecen diseñados para niños de un kindergarden."
