"Kind of a funky space (not in a bad way). It was a last minute stay for me but the place would easily accommodate a group of people. I get the sense that perhaps this was a former restaurant? There's a huge kitchen and a bar to boot. This place would be great for a young family or group of 20-somethings as it kind of has a college feel. It was very clean. My only suggestion would be to go easier on the air fresheners."

"I had a 2-night stay and would recommend! The house was large, spacious, comfortable and quiet. I didn't do extensive cooking, but the kitchen looked pretty well stocked with a lot of basics. Comfortable couch and nice big tv with streaming apps. The sauna was awesome, and the jetted spa tub was deep enough that I used it for a reasonably successful cold plunge alternating with time in the sauna. I also took an actual warm bath with the jets, and that was lovely, though the hot water did start...

"The house has great views and good backyard to relax. Though, we paid for cleaning and insurance, we had to clean the dishes as per the rule and there was no dishwasher as well.The AC did not work and very confusing to operate.There is another small room near the parking where someone lives or is private. We did not know about it before booking and should have been made clear.Overall, good place to stay but check out process is hectic and cleaning dishes is not what you want to do before...

"Place was great and we lucked out with maybe last great weather of the year so I got in a paddle on the lovely lake. Everything was as-listed; very relaxing and good location b/w Bellingham and Bow-Edison area. "

"My family and I loved this house! The hottub was clean and easy to get into. Slippers were even provided which was amazung! The living room and dinning room were very spacious and comfortable. We had a few random questions and the host was super easy to reach. We will definitely stay again!"

"We enjoyed an extended stay at Cowboy Cabin. It was great being out in a rural area, and we especially enjoyed watching hawks, swans, and other birds in the marsh across the street. The on-site staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. Just know that this is an older building with dents and bruises, and the heating system could use a little attention. I'll bet kids would enjoy the cowboy decor and plenty of room to play in the large living room."

"Hosts, Eldon and Ranae, are friendly and good communicators. The treats were a nice touch, especially for our kids. The house was clean, and it is nicely decorated. It served very well our needs for our large family. Lynden is a clean town, and it is close to lots of activities. We would definitely recommend this property to other visitors."
