Great Fenwick Property

Can't beat this property in Fenwick. Proximity to the beach is unbelievable. Enough room for the whole family and large living space so you aren't in top of each other. Pool after the beach every day was a perfect end to each day.

Great Birthday Celebration for Mom

We stayed for a long weekend to celebrate a 70th birthday for mom. We had a total of 12 people in the house and it was spacious and clean. The 5 Master Bedrooms is great and the kids loved the pool. It’s sobclose to the beach and shops & restaurants. This was our first trip to Fenwick Island (we go to the Outer Banks every year as a family) and this may be a new spot for us. Highly recommend Storm Bait.

The host was terrible. The property is listed as beach front ocean view. It was nothing of that short. The host did not communicate in a timely manner. The grill was disgusting when we got there — unusable. He charged extra money even tho we did not damage any furniture. The front door does not work. Have to use side door that is not convenient. Rooms are terribly small. Our linens arrived late. Stay away.

Perfect beach house

Great house! Spacious rooms with ensuite bathrooms. One bedroom had a bath which was perfect for the kids’ bath time. So close to the beach and they also had a wagon provided to carry all your beach items if needed. We had our own so we didn’t use the house wagon. Lots of beach chairs and beach toys. The pool was wonderful after a beach day to chill at before dinner. Lots of pool floaties. However be careful with little kids slipping on the paved area around the pool. It is quite slippery and both kids slipped twice even with adult supervision. One of our kids hit the back of their head which was scary. Wear rubber or gripped soled shoes around the pool. The kitchen had everything you needed and we loved the large kitchen island as we could eat and hang out there. The dining table is very long to fit our entire family and some. Would rent here again.

Awesome week at the beach!

Great beach house! This was our second time renting this house for a family reunion. Half a block walk to the beach is so convenient for beach days and surf fishing. The pool is such a nice option for a break from the beach and the main floor layout is great for dinners and socializing for our family. Hoping we can return for a third time in the coming years!

2024 Family Vacation

The house is amazing and the owner does his best to maintain the property. Regardless of his efforts, each tenant should also do their part in helping the next guests staying at the house to find it clean and in order. This year we found empty snack bags with crumbs under the mattresses in what we use as rooms for the children. Luckily we found them Saturday and removed them before ants became an issue.

Beautiful Beach House

We had a wonderful time at this beach house. The house was more beautiful than the pictures show. Close to beach and restaurants. Frank was awesome and very kind to check in on us during our stay. Would definitely rent this house again!

Fenwick Trip 2023

Thank you Frank! This was our family's first trip to Fenwick Island. We will definitely be returning! Our trip was interrupted by the storm Ophelia! No sunshine with the exception of a few peeks of sun on two occasions. Regardless of the weather our stay at Storm Bait was wonderful! The whole family enjoyed the large kitchen and dining area for meals and game nights. We watched Halloween movies and ate lots of snacks! Each of our bedrooms had comfortable beds & pillows, with our own bathrooms! We did travel out to play indoor mini golf one day, Lombardi's for dinner & a short walk on OC Boardwalk.

Family vacation

We wish the pool was cleaned earlier in the week closer to check in, as it was pretty sandy when we arrived. All in all, we loved the house especially the layout of the house, the updated kitchen, and close walk to the beach. It’s a great family beach house and we will definitely be back!

Loved Storm Bait so much. Fit our family's needs perfectly. Appreciated the short walk to the beach and the mats down for ease in getting to the sand. The pool was certainly a plus with the kids and adults alike. Frank was readily responsive to the few questions we had.

We have stayed in Storm Bait for the last 4 years. This year we were surprised and delighted to see an updated kitchen with a gorgeous gas range and a bigger center island. The property is always clean, ready on time, and in good repair. Frank is very responsive to any concerns. This year the internet was not working when we arrived due to a thunderstorm and short power outage. Frank was texting me immediately and gave me simple directions to reset the modem. We love this property and have already booked for next year.

Perfect vacation rental

This property offers everything we desire in a beach rental. It’s close to the beach and restaurants plus the pool provides hours of additional fun in the sun and evening. The rooms are nicely decorated and ample size. The owner is responsive and accommodates our request for early entry . We have already booked our week in 2024

Fenwick Beach charmer

This charming beach house, just a short walk to the beach, is a wonderful vacation spot. Plenty of parking, easy access to local Fenwick Island eating/shopping; short drives to OC MD and Bethany Beach. The pool was wonderful. Master bedroom is very private; each room is well appointed.

Great location. Love the pool. So nice to have 2 first floor bedrooms. One for us (grandparents) and one for our handicapped grandchild. Mats on the beach made for easy access with the beach wheelchair. Well stocked kitchen. Owner is very responsive. Saw lots of dolphins!
