We have stayed multiple times at this beautiful home! It was very comfortable for our family of 15 adults. Very well appointed and comfortable. The front yard is great for yard games and we enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. A short walk to the beach to watch the sunset each night. We also enjoyed our time in Fennville and Saugatuck! A short drive to both! Highly recommend Salt of the Earth restaurant in Fennville. Would highly recommend this property!

Check-in was very straightforward and easy. The kitchen is well-appointed and very pretty. We were really impressed by the nice dishes and serving pieces; they were far superior to those in any other house I’ve rented. Lots of cookware and utensils. This feels like a home, not a rental property.

We love to cook! So the open kitchen, living, eating area works for us- cook, talk, eat and laugh! Then walk down and see the sunset!Sit on the front porch with your coffee in the morning- you might see a deer in the front!We took the kids to Michigan Adventure (about 35 miles north), to Oval Beach (4 miles) to Saugatuck (4 miles), and just down the street to Westside Park ( wear swimming shoes- it’s rocky when you first wade in!). Also a must! FennHill - music and food truck on Thursday evening- bring a chair or grab a picnic table! Virtue Cider and Modela’s - lots of room for kids to run!Oh, and pick blueberries and raspberries at Cranes if you’re there in JulyBest thing though? Not one mosquito!! Love that!!

Delightful family vacation

Keith’s home was perfect for our family of 9 adults and 4 kids to gather for a week. Photos do not do it justice! The kitchen was a delight to cook in. The appliances, equipment snd cookware, and ample plates, glassware and serving pieces were much appreciated. I mean, who has polish pottery coffee cups in their guest house? There was a nice assortment of spices and baking staples in the cupboards. The bedrooms were beautifully furnished and the beds comfortable. I would love a yard as wonderfully landscaped as this one! There was something to see around each bend. The large open yard was great for the kids and the adults enjoyed fires around the fire pit in the evening after bedtime. It was a short walk in a lovely neighborhood to the beach access. Initial concern that the beach was walking only was soon gone as the kids ran and jumped and collected shells and stones for hours. We visited the beach at least twice each day. I would visit this home again in a minute. It truly was as welcoming and equipped as if it was with family, not a rental. Oh, the artwork and pieces are amazing!

BEAUTIFUL WOODED RETREAT

My family and I recently stayed at this beautiful property and all 11 of us were very impressed. We had 7 adults, 6 of whom were coupled and 4 kids 12yr, 15yr, & two 17yr and all 11 of us had our own space! We were able to come together in the shared living spaces: kitchen, family room, basement; but dont forget the wonderful outdoor living space! Front porch, back porch, campfire area as well as a sizeable front yard to volley a ball & a huge driveway! This property had everything from comfort and cozy to spacious and gorgeous, both inside and out. We saw a family of deer multiple days right out our front door. Oval Beach is a short ten minute drive and property had beach chairs to share so we did not have to bring our own. I cant say enough wonderful things about this beautiful wooded retreat. Thank you VRBO for coordinating our beautiful rental for a memorable week Saugatuck was a gem and we will definitely be back.

Beautiful and spacious

Home was clean and suited our family well. Plenty of space indoors and out to spread out or gather together. Loved the decor and “home” feel. Great location. Kitchen had plenty of dishes and cooking pots/pans/serving dishes. Enjoyed our stay!

Excellent Location, Felt like home, Lots of Privacy

This home is very comfortable, clean, and provides lots of privacy. The outside sitting area is very inviting for reading, visiting. We felt very at home here. The dishwasher stopped working but Kieth was very responsive. It is close to Apple Orchards, vineyards and Saugatuck which has cute shops, restaurants and parks for kids. We were a 4 families with 2 little one's and we had plenty of room.

Exceeded Expectations!

This home is lovely and perfectly set up to host! The fenced yard is a dream of paths, perrenials and enchanting artwork. The outdoor evening lighting creates a magical retreat environment. We particularly loved all the incredible artwork and attention to detail inside the home! And so much space for everyone, while feeling cozy when it was just my husband and I. The short walk to the Lake Michigan access was charming and of course the lakeshore is magnificent. We highly recommend this home/stay as one of the best experiences!

Long weekend family get-away!

We have stayed at this home several times with our group of extended family ages 13 and up! We had 15 guests this year and we all slept comfortably. We did use the pull out sofa bed and twin that are in the lower level family room area. Kitchen is well appointed, we grilled one evening and had everything we needed for dinner for 15! The outside front yard is large and we were able to enjoy some outdoor lawn games, we really appreciated the area being lit with hanging lights because we used it after sunset. Speaking of sunset, it’s a short walk to the beach access where we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets each night! The fire pit area has comfortable Adirondack chairs and enough seating for our large group! Also, the deck area has plenty of seating for morning coffee overlooking the beautiful garden or use any time of day! We really enjoy the decor and artwork in the home, we love to notice all of the details and placement of the beautiful pieces. This home is so very warm and welcoming! A big thank you to the owners for sharing this home, it has provided us with a beautiful place to gather and enjoy each other!

Camp Bachelorette

We had a group of 14 girls stay here for a weekend in the woods kind of bachelorette party. The property is absolutely gorgeous and is in perfect walking distance to public beach access. Keith was so easy to work with and very responsive. Would definitely 10/10 recommend.

Wonderful getaway

Had a bunch of lousy 30somethings get together for a friends getaway- this place was great. Enough space in the front for kube/other yard games, great setup for a fire, and plenty of outdoor seating. Inside was just as great, the decor is so so tasteful and warm. Had enough space and beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

A Perfect Setting

The home is quite charming with far more character than your typical VRBO. You can tell it is treated as a home instead of purely an investment property. Extremely private setting with a fantastic out door space to complement the home itself. Close to a range of different areas to explore Saugatuck, enjoy restaurants, breweries, etc. Would definitely recommend.
