    Nestled above the charming village of Altglashütten in Germany, the historical timber house "Winterberg" is a detached, 2-storey holiday rental that offers a truly secluded and elevated retreat surrounded by trees, meadows, and open fields. Positioned just 100 metres from the edge of the forest and set along a quiet road, this characterful property exudes the warmth and authenticity of traditional Black Forest architecture. The natural state yard surrounding the house is adorned with flowers and trees, creating a peaceful and private outdoor environment that invites you to unwind in complete tranquillity. Parking is conveniently available on the premises, ensuring ease of arrival and departure throughout your stay. Please be aware that access to the property is via a 10-metre-long, very steep and narrow motor access road over an unmade surface, followed by a stepped path of 12 steps leading directly to the house entrance.

    This charming 5-room cottage of 120 m2, partly renovated in 2024, accommodates up to 6 guests across 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, offering a tasteful and cosy atmosphere throughout. On the ground floor, the welcoming living and dining room features ceiling heights ranging from 180 to 220 cm, with a low door height of 180 cm, and is furnished with a dining table for shared meals. Adjacent to it, the large, open kitchen is equipped with a cooking island and 4 induction hot plates, a toaster, a kettle, and an electric coffee machine, making it ideal for preparing home-cooked meals. The ground floor also includes a bath, shower, and WC, as well as direct access to both the terrace and the patio. The upper floor, accessible via a steep staircase, features a walk-through room with ceiling heights between 180 and 190 cm. This level houses 3 bedrooms: 1 small children's room fitted with 1 bunk bed in a 2x2 configuration (90 cm wide, 200 cm in length), and 2 double bedrooms, each furnished with 1 double bed measuring 2 x 90 cm in width and 200 cm in length. Beautiful wooden floors extend throughout the property, adding warmth and character to the overall interior.
