Nearby is the fishing village of Lemkenhafen, offering restaurants serving smoked fish and other local specialties. The “Sun Island” of Fehmarn offers many activities, such as swimming at the natural beaches or enjoying water sports, sailing, surfing, kitesurfing, cycling, hiking, horseback riding, and much more.
