Within walking distance to historic downtown Fayetteville shops and restaurants and so much to do in the outlying areas. Also, the house is beautifully decorated and in a very quiet neighborhood. Comfy beds too! Would definitely recommend and would go back myself!

Great location and beautiful accommodations

We loved this location- very walkable to all the fun spots in Fayetteville. The house was beautifully decorated and well equipped. Elizabeth goes out of her way to ensure guests have a fun getaway! Very responsive and helpful. Would stay here again!

Perfect home base

The bungalow provides an excellent central location to explore the gigantic playground that is NRG! The home is well equipped with lots of cozy touches and is close to the park as well as great restaurants. Perfect for our family of 4!

Truly Delightful

This home was clean, spacious, quiet, and restored beautifully! We were very sorry to leave. The outdoor deck was the perfect resting place after a day of hiking. It was enjoyable to walk into the town and eat in the local restaurants. This was a perfect getaway!

Wonderful bungalow!

I just returned from a week long stay at the DT bungalow. I was traveling with my husband, 5 young adults and 2 dogs. Our big group loved this stylish, comfy, well stocked home. This property has so many areas to hang out as a big group such as family game night at the dining room table, big breakfast in the large kitchen, campfire in the pit area or playing fetch with the dogs in the beautiful back yard. If it's quiet you're looking for, the front patio, one of the bedrooms, the living room are so comfortable. The proximity to downtown Fayetteville was the biggest factor in my decision to rent this property and it didn't disappoint. The coffee shops, vintage stores, restaurants, outdoor outfitters are all a short walk from the house. We took advantage of all the area has to offer including the Bridge Walk, whitewater rafting, a coal mine tour, boating at Summersville lake and plenty of hiking. This home is centrally located for all of these activities. Finally, I am always worried renting a dog friendly home. This house was immaculate. It smelled clean and fresh upon arrival and I didn't see evidence of dog hairs or accidents from prior dogs. Communication with Elizabeth was excellent. She was welcoming and extremely responsive. I will absolutely stay here again.

A trip to remember!

Elizabeth's home was the PERFECT location for a mini-reunion with family. Six of us stayed very comfortably in the home -- including our addition of an air mattress in the bedroom with two single beds so our three teens could have a perpetual slumber party! Photos were spot on with the reality of the home. And the back deck and yard were perfect for home-cooked breakfasts and dinners, and evening games. Location was perfect for rafting, hiking, swimming and more. Thank you again and again, Elizabeth, for four fabulous days!

A good place for 6 guys to stay for 3 nights

The house is centrally located to downtown (1/3 mile) and the New River Gorge bridge (3 miles). The home is well kept. The only concern we had was severe paint pealing in the ceiling of the dining room. The owner assured us that there the 20 layers of old paint didn't have any lead in it and that it would be repaired. We didn't spend any time in that room. It's well kept and good for a large group.

The home was exactly as advertised. My spouse and I were visiting the New Gorge National Park and Fayetteville. Our trip could not have been more pleasant. The home had great and thoughtful advantages. No steps, close to where we wanted to be. With great touches, like enough coffee for our entire visit. Even oil & spices should we have cooked. However instead of cooking we had fabulous meals at several of the local restaurants.

Excellent house so close to downtown

This house is beautiful, exactly like the pictures and perfectly clean! We loved being so close to the National park that we could come back to the house for lunch in between hikes. The walk to downtown is super easy, there are plenty of cute shops & restaurants. We highly recommend this house and loved that we were able to bring our dog.

Perfect in every way.

This home is very comfortable, beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The hostess Elizabeth is very responsive and communicative. This property was great. It was conveniently located in downtown Fayettevile. It was very clean and decorated beautifully. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Perfect house for a relaxing vacation
