In town for Roundtop with coworkers - house has great appointments, clean and very comfortable. Such a fun space - great pool! Fabulous place for large group getaway!

Great Place!

Enjoyed five nights with family of eight! Plenty of space to spread out and a wonderful pool! Kitchen was great for cooking meals and the bedrooms were uniquely decorated and fun to stay in. If you need groceries, La Grange HEB is about 20 minutes away. We plan to book again next summer!

Such a fun weekend

Everything about this property was perfect. The house had a great layout for putting the kids down and still being able to have the adults stay up. Every room was so cute too! We loved the pool and the fishing pond. Any questions we had were quickly answered as well. We can’t wait to come back!

Bridge Getaway

This was our second trip and love everything! We only (all ten of us) sincerely pray to return next year to more comfortable seatings in the game room. Especially for those of us the are semi handicap.

Second stay at this wonderful property! Was incredible both times. Plenty of room for everyone, wildlife(deer) visiting in the am/pm. Great bar area and large dining area! Not to forget the fun outdoor space that is where we spent our evenings. Large group approved! Property management available at all times!

Easy Breezy

Our family is spread across Texas and its been a busy year so this was a perfect, central location to get together and have fun! The kitchen was well appointed so we were able to enjoy large family meals, once we were able to get the kids out of the pool! We also enjoyed lots of family time in the game room. Bedrooms were nice and there was plenty of space for everyone- our bigger kiddos loved the bunk room and felt so grown up. This property is perfect for so many occasions!

Gorgeous and very well-designed spaces. Loved the pool and covered porch. Opening the garage doors into the bar and game room was fantastic during the day! Responsive hosts. Everything you could need is there. Plentiful parking. Everyone had a wonderful time! Thank you!

Even more beautiful in person!

We had an 18th bday party with friends and family. The property is gorgeous and full of activities to enjoy. From the game room to outdoor spaces to multiple TVs there was something for everyone at every hour of the night. The host was attentive and communicative regarding every question we had. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate. I can’t wait to book again!

Birthday weekend

We had a fabulous time with 12 people celebrating our daughter's birthday. The house was plenty big, completely beautiful and close enough to Round Top for a Saturday night in town. The weather even cooperated!We love this property, the unique layout with fun activities including pool, Bocci ball, swimming, pinball and several decks of cards. We added Karaoke and nobody wanted to leave!Great communication from hosts and very accommodating to our many requests. Early and late checkout for fee. This was our second annual excursion with this group and we look forward to many more!Thanks Hostie!

Beautiful and Quiet

We stayed with a group of discerning friends during the height of the Spring 2025 Antiques Show and could not have been more pleased and surprised at the excellence of the facility. Someone with outstanding taste and vision executed a beautiful vacation spot. It was too chilly to use the enticing pool and we didn't use the excellent indoor and outdoor kitchens, but pretty much everything else contributed to a memorable vacation. The photos on-line, while beautiful, do not do justice to the Moxie because the camera cannot display the grand scale and excellent integration of the rooms that strike your eye and mind. It was so quiet and the stars at night were truly big and bright. Bring your constellation/star finder app on your phone for an entertaining evening outdoors. Bedrooms were very private and sound-isolated, unlike many B&Bs. Luxury is not a large enough word to describe The Moxie.

Sally's 70th Birthday GNO weekend

We had 13 women celebrating our dear friends' 70th birthday for a weekend of hanging out and shopping and the Moxie was the perfect venue. The close proximity to Houston and a 15-20 min. ride to Round Top were great selling points. But also the property itself was GORGEOUS. Four of the 13 women in our group are home decorators and this place had all of us walking around in AWE! Everything from the kitchen & bar (beautiful AND functional), wallpaper, ceilings, paint colors, art, rugs, layout of the house was absolutely perfect. We are all pretty picky in our tastes and we all agreed that this is the number ONE rental ANY of us have stayed in. The operational videos were extremely helpful in managing the high end appliances.The pool and hot tub were a huge hit with this group of 70ish ladies - even in January!!!I can highly recommend staying at the Moxie. There was not ONE complaint. We all can not wait to come back!
