"We stayed here for one night after a day in Winchester. A nice enough hotel, with staff pleasant enough. The room we stayed in was small but well kept. The main issue we had was that the room was that next to a staff run through, meaning doors were slammed constantly. Further, there was no air conditioning, and the room we were in at the bottom floor was next to a busy beer table and had lots and lots of mosquitoes, meaning we were bitten to heck! "This was a great last minute find, 40 mins from Gatwick and great staff, from check in, to bar service and check out. Family room was more than big enough for two adults and a child of 11. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner included. Breakfast was simple but enough, continental style help yourself but was good too. Will stay here again whether using Heathrow or Gatwick. Many thanks to all the staff"

"Edwina was a welcoming host! Nothing was too much trouble! Made sure we always had what we need! Accommodating our American car! Fabulous fresh cooked breakfast! Room was lovely which was cleaned daily. The best shower pressure! Tea coffee, water and juice in the room. Great location, walking distance to Esher town centre and the Racetrack! "My husband and I spent 2 nights at The Swan Inn. The staff were all fantastic and the food at the restaurant was great. Having a breakfast cooked to order included in the price was a nice surprise. The accommodation was good value and the bedroom, while small, was well designed. The shower was fabulous with lovely shampoo and soaps. Our only criticism was the bed and pillows.
