Our rental home was clean, bright and well stocked. The location in Farmers' Hill is lovely. You are located somewhat in the middle of many beautiful beaches and attractions. The house was steps from a beach. Our negihbors would wave hello and made us feel welcome.The guest books offered many great ideas. I would add to that a visit for lunch, dinner or drinks with appetizer at the Grand Isle Resort. The food is fresh and delicous. The tropical drins are made with fresh fruit. It is welcoming and beautfiul. We enjoyed every aspect of our rental home. It was everything and more we wanted or needed. The owners are spectacular. They truly care about your stay being the best it can be and they delivered.

Canuck Palms

Another amazing stay at Canuck Palms. This home has everything you need, beach toys, snorkel equipment, beach bags, towels, rolling cooler. A nice back deck to grill and relax on the lounge chairs in the evening after a day at the beach. Heather responded my messages promptly, which I loved. Home away from home!

What a beautiful & cozy place! We loved everything about Brett & Heather’s place. The house is very clean. We arrived for the last part of our trip. As soon as we walked in the door we felt like we were back at home. Our favorite part of the place was how close the beach was…100 steps and you’re there! We spent our last day enjoying the beach while the kiddos played in the water. We only saw 2 other people the whole time we were there. The kids enjoyed the beach toys & the 2 way radios definitely came in handy. We will definitely be back. Thanks again Brett & Heather!

Travelling with children

We just got back from our week long stay at Canuck Palms with our two kids aged 2 1/2 years and 7 months. The accommodations were spotless on arrival and it was stocked with all the equipment you need to enjoy your vacation (including many supplies for kids!). It was great to have access to both a pack n’play and high chair which meant less packing for us and we were pleasantly surprised to also find children’s beach toys and books! The beach was a short walk from the house (not suitable terrain for a stroller but it was so close we didn’t need one) and we often had it completely to ourselves. During our stay the water at the beach was a bit rough and not suitable for swimming with small children but we enjoyed playing in the sand and watching the waves. The house was conveniently located (15-20 min drive) to tons of amazing beaches with shallow calm water for swimming. There were many options close by for food, groceries and gas! We felt very safe in the area and were surrounded by friendly neighbours but had tons of privacy on the property itself. Brett and Heather were EXTREMELY responsive both leading up with the trip and during our stay (they usually responded in under 5 mins!). We did lose power quite a few times during our stay (often for about 30 mins, sometimes longer) and they were quick to keep us updated. This is something to consider when travelling with kids who are on a meal/nap schedule. This is truly a turn key vacation spot and we can’t wait to return!

Great Stay at Canuck Palms

The house was very clean and neat and had a great Bahamas vibe. The check-in process was super easy and communication with the owners was very clear and precise. We enjoyed the easy and short walk to what felt like our own private beach and spent a lot of time there.

Excellent Home

Brett and Heather were very responsive to any follow-up questions we had. The check-in process was very easy. The home is exactly as the photos depict. Spotlessly clean, bright, large rooms, cozy beds. They have thought of almost anything someone may need. You could literally come here without packing anything and have what you need. They have set the bar very high for other VRBO properties. We have stayed three different places in Exuma and by far this has been the best property. Very close to a quiet beach with a scenic walk. When we come back we will certainly choose Canuck Palms. We cannot recommend their home enough. Thank you so much Brett and Heather. Your home helped make an already perfect island vacation that much better.

Great house in a great location!!!

Really enjoyed our stay and exploring all the Exumas have to offer. The house was a short walk to a mostly private beach. We had everything that we needed for cooking and going to the beach. Owners easy to get in touch with and fixed one issue right away.

Better than advertised. Perfect private getaway spot.

Everything that the add listed was there and more. Private, very clean, and everything we needed and many things that we didn’t need but we’re there in case (full kitchen). Owners responded to any questions very quickly. Check in was simple and easy. 2 min walk to beach that had no other people during our stay. Right in the middle of the island, 5 mins from the airport. Clean towels and bedding. We will definitely be booking again next year. Highly reccomend!!!

Short Business Trip In Paradise
