spent 5 days at this beautiful property with my family of 8, including 5 adults, 3 kids. the pool was amazing, the views and the house was meticulously planned, kitchen had all we needed. we had angie’s team of chefs cook for us one night and the food was amazing- highly recommend! we drove to a few beaches and did some excursions but loved coming back to the beautiful house. wifi, ac, beach chairs and plenty of nice fluffy beach towels. shade at the pool for when the sun was too hot! would love to come back again. thank you to all who helped make our stay so nice!

AMAZING PROPERTY IN GREAT EXUMA

This was our annual 'Family Vacation' once again in Great Exuma. We absolutely loved this home. It was so spacious, with enough room to enjoy quiet time if needed. The kids (teenagers) stayed upstairs and had their own lounging area with a TV. Us adults had the downstairs. The house was clean, well equipped, beds were comfortable, great quiet location, rooms were spacious - just an amazing house. My favorite place was out on the roomy back deck with the pool and beautiful ocean views. The owners were wonderful to deal with and the property manager was also a pleasure to work with. She always responded in a very timely manner and gave us updates if anything special was happening in Great Exuma. I will definitely book this house again.

This was a wonderful home for my family while on the island. It truly had the wow factor in every room you entered. The location is great - lots of privacy - great views and plenty of space to relax. The pool was amazing to come back to and cool off in.

Perfection!

This house was just perfect for us - 6 adults and 5 kids under 6. The hosts and Angie have thought of everything, and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Very responsive to any unforeseen issues. The view is breathtaking, pool crystal clean, and you can snorkel straight into the ocean from the house. We cooked at the house most nights, and kitchen was fully stocked with all utensils etc. A lot of towels and beach items. Multiple AC units and beds were very comfortable. Master suite especially is very lovely as you can take a bath and look out over the ocean. Not enough good things to say about this place. A couple tips: roads are bumpy if you rent a car, so would look at an off road vehicle, though very possible in our rental minivan. Stock up on groceries if planning to cook on your way in from George Town. There are smaller grocery stores close to the house, but if you’re wanting great quality and selection, stop in George Town. Don’t cook outside before dark at least this time of year just like they recommend! Flies come out of no where. Totally fine to cook after dark outside. Also highly recommend having the property manager Angie, a chef as her primary job, come cook for you at the house. Great food and very relaxing!

Great stay

Our group of seven adults had a lovely time at Estrella Y Mar! The house manager, Angie, was very helpful pre-trip and during the trip in making recommendations and making sure we were all set with everything we needed. The house was very clean and accommodating. We spent most of our house time outside, enjoying the pool and the fabulous ocean view - couldn't have asked for better! We were a bit further from Georgetown than we expected, so just had to plan accordingly for dinners out, etc. All in all, it is a great property - as advertised - and we'd love to come back and stay again!

Spectacular Estrella Y Mar

Spectacular! What a great family adventure. We highly recommend Estrella Y Mar as your next family getaway. This is the first time we have rented a home rather than staying at a resort. It did not disappoint. It is everything you could imagine and more. Beautiful private retreat to reconnect with family or friends. No outside crowds or distractions. The amenities are true luxury. A short drive from the airport takes you to a secluded property on the ocean overlooking beautiful turquoise waters. This large new home is lovingly appointed with every detail considered. Wonderful vitas from the massive patio or from the edge of your private infinity pool. Preparing dinners are no problem as the kitchen is appointed with anything you may need including outdoor bbq and fire pit. Spacious and comfortable bedrooms ensure a wonderful night’s sleep. While the home is perfect, the island does not disappoint. We highly recommend renting a car conveniently located at the airport. Explore Exuma on your terms. Visit some of the best beaches you have ever seen. We especially recommend a trip to Coco Plum Beach…awesome. Too many to count and not far away as it is only 3 hours to drive from one end to the other. We especially enjoyed trying local cuisine at the many eateries that can be found as you travel the island. We did have one special dinner out at a wonderful formal dinning restaurant called 23 North. 5 Stars! Rick and Moira F.

Perfect Wedding Venue

We came to Exuma to look for the idyllic spot for our son’s wedding – and we found it!! This beautiful home will be perfect for hosting the wedding that our son and his fiancée have dreamed of, and we are very excited! There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms – all gorgeous – to house the bridal party and we found accommodations very nearby for the rest of the 35 guests. The villa is close to the airport, which is a bonus. The kitchen and food prep areas have everything the caterer needs and are well stocked with all the essentials and much more. We prepared a few meals in and were pleased with the assortment of high-end dishes, glasses, cutlery, serving platters. The outdoor space is what really clinched the deal for us. We can already imagine the wedding photos with the backdrop of the prettiest shade of blue water from the ocean and the pool!! There is a huge covered porch and two cabanas for those who prefer the shade, lots of seating and loungers, and a massive and beautifully finished tiled patio that will be where we have the ceremony, cocktails and apps and the sit-down dinner. We measured it out and there is plenty of room for everything we want. The host connected us with caterers who will look after all the food and decorating, so all we have to do is show up in our wedding clothes! We can’t wait!!

Unforgettable stay!

Estrella y mar Our group celebrated my retirement in Exuma and we were thrilled with this Villa! We were 12 people and had more than enough room! This was our first time in Exuma and what a way to experience it for our first time! The Villa had absolutely everything you needed and more! It was very private! I felt like I was walking into the middle of an interior magazine! The place was decorated beautifully and we had plenty of room! I loved how close to the airport we were, a 10 minutes drive. We were close enough to go to Tropics of Cancer beach and Coco plum! A short drive to the grocery store and liquor store. Very close to Grand Isles golf course. (We love golfing) The back yard has a luxury feel to it! It had a feel of a five star resort, super impressed with the quality and quantity of the lounge chairs. We were 12 people and it felt like we were only a few people on the deck. Every morning we would enjoy our coffees and tea in the 2 gazebos welcoming the sunrise at the back of the property! We were able to enjoy a few meals prepared by Chef Angie! Angie is the manager of the property and is also a private chef with a diverse menu. Angie was able to provide us with contacts for boat excursions. We had a gorgeous salt pool and an ocean pool that fills up with the tide. Lots of seating with shaded areas! There was a fantastic BBQ pit at the back of the property and we enjoyed some grilled steaks that had been prepared there! I highly recommend this place

Perfect House in Exuma

Estrella Y Mar is a stunning house, and we had an amazing vacation there. Less than 10 minutes from the airport and a central location on the island, make it a perfect venue to visit some of the most beautiful beaches in Exuma. The house itself is beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed. We cooked in several nights, using the outdoor grill, so we could make the most of the ocean view and enjoy the house with our family of 3 teenage girls. David and Sonia are perfect hosts and were super helpful with any questions we had. The house manager Dellarese was attentive and helped us with anything we needed day to day. I would highly recommend this house to anyone visiting Exuma, and we can not wait to go back!

Paradise🏝️

This was such a special experience all around. The home is beautiful and it was the first time we felt the property was infinitely better than the pictures. The house manager Dellarese was lovely and SO helpful and attentive. The wedding arrangements and food prepared by Chef Angie and staff could not have been more perfect. It was not only a perfect stay for us but we made some beautiful new friends along the way. I couldn’t recommend this property highly enough!

Paradise FOUND!

This home is absolutely stunning! The main floor has three spacious bedrooms, one with an ensuite and ocean view, two that share a bathroom. There is laundry, a powder room, and a massive living room/dining room, all with airy, high ceilings. The kitchen is really well appointed with everything you will need. Upstairs there are three more spacious bedrooms & a nursery, two bathrooms, a work station, and another living area. There is a coffee/tea station for people staying upstairs. The house is a short drive from the airport, and we were able to rent a vehicle at the airport with help from our hosts. The entry way has a circular drive that makes it easy to drive in and out of, and a beach volleyball court that was a lot of fun. The back stone deck is massive, with many loungers, tables, chairs, umbrellas, and 3 covered areas for those wanting a break from the sun. The heated salt water pool is a great place for cooling off, and there is also an ocean fed pool on the shore which is really cool because the water level changes with the tides and the waves! The house is located a short drive from grocery stores, liquor stores, Georgetown, Grand Isles and Sandals. It is also a short drive to Coco Plum Beach and Tropic of Cancer Beach, both very quiet and beautiful. The Grill House at 23 North at Grand Isles is really nice (make reservations!), and Tim's Bar on the Beach is a picturesque spot for getting a cocktail. The hosts are super attentive and helpful - just ask!

A spectacular vacation home

We had an absolutely fantastic time at this beautiful, brand new, impeccably clean property. It is perfectly situated to take advantage of day trips to Georgetown and several beautiful beaches. Our group was 12 people (6 couples) celebrating a big birthday. The shared cost was more than reasonable for this luxury accomodation. There was definitely enough room for everyone and the home was very well stocked with everything we needed. There are plenty of bathrooms and we never ran out of hot water. The hosts were terrific and responded immediately to a request to help us organize a private chef for one night. The drive from the airport was less than 10 minutes so that was a bonus. We were also able to rent a 12 seat van at the airport. It's a small airport that isn't busy so very easy to get in and out. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped as we made most of our meals ourselves. There was lots to do at the property including volleyball, cornhole, infinity pool swimming and even an ocean pool. There are several areas including front and back covered porches and a large resort-like, beautifully tiled deck with comfortable seating for lounging around the pool or watching the ocean. We would highly recommend this property and look forward to coming back next year.
