Fair Winds: Tropical Beach House, Stunning Ocean View, Pool, Steps to the Beach!

  • Fair Winds is a true tropical beach house located on a hill with stunning turquoise ocean views, a lush tropical garden, and a backyard pool oasis! A quick 2 minute walk to our beach access with 1/2 mile of white sand, turquoise waters and a beautiful reef to snorkel and adventure on! The property is very private, with native Bahamian flowers, palms, and trees surrounding the grounds. The house is your home away from home with a beautiful kitchen, stocked with all the amenities a Chef will need! The Great Room is a focal point of the home, perfect for gatherings and enjoying the beautiful turquoise views. The Great Room, featuring built-in soft seating and a dining table for 8 guests, has stunning high ceilings and a wall of windows to look out over the ocean and palm trees! There are three bedrooms, 2 King bedrooms upstairs with 2 full baths, and the Garden Room located on the lower level has a Queen bed and a Twin bed with an on suite full bath. The wrap around deck provides a great place to enjoy the Bahamian breezes, tropical bird songs, and of course -THE VIEW! After a quick swim at the beach, enjoy the outdoor shower and NEW POOL and Gazebo Oasis with an outdoor bathroom. The outdoor barstools and rail provide the perfect spot for coffee or drinks while listening to the waves crash.

    We are less than 10 minutes from the airport and within walking distance of a grocery and liquor store.

    We can guide you to easy car and boat rentals or other island excursions to fall in love with Exuma!

We absolutely loved this house. It was exactly as described and pictured, and exceeded our expectations. We were the first to use the pool and palapa bar, and they are both fantastic! Kristen was more than helpful with any and all questions we had. The location is great as well. We can't wait to go back!

A great house

We loved our stay at Fair Winds and it was perfect for your family of 4 with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The views and proximity to the beach were amazing.

Fair Winds - Excellent

Our stay at Fair Winds was excellent and we loved the property and the local beach. The water and beaches in this part of the world is exceptional! We would stay at Fairs Winds again without hesitation.

Great Place

We had a great stay. Nicely decorated, clean, and well organized with plenty of room for our family.Communication was terrific and proactive.The beach was a minute or two walk from the house. We preferred exploring during the day but it was a nice spot to visit in the mornings/evenings.

Lovely home

Home was perfect and had literally everything you need for a beach holiday. We loved our stay in Exuma and look forward to coming back next year! Kristen was so wonderful and accommodating! Beautiful beach super close to the house. Loved everything.

Great Stay!!

We enjoyed our stay at Fair Winds. We had 2 adults and 2 children under 10 and the house had more than enough room for us. Kristin provided great recommendations for our trip and we had the best time! The house had everything we could have needed during our stay.

We had the most amazing stay at fair winds. The check in process was seamless and the place was immaculate upon our arrival. The location was perfect - being up on the hill with a beautiful view of the ocean was so private and relaxing. Fair winds is surrounded by beautiful’ lush gardens. The house itself was stocked with everything we could possibly need. There were super comfy spots to sit both indoors and out. We loved the cozy nook of benches and big pillows and equally enjoyed time outdoors in the chaise lounge chairs and wicker arm chairs. Most days we walked down to the small beach only 2 minutes away (that was usually empty) or we would walk further to the longer beach by 3 sisters rock. We spent 3 days at our favourite beach - Cocoplum - which is only a short drive away. Of our 4 visits to Exuma, this was by far our favourite and the nicest, most well appointed Vrbo yet. We would go back in a heart beat.

Wonderful home that Kristen and Brian have made for their guests! It had everything we needed and more! We loved coming back every day after a long day in the water and sun to relax here! We enjoyed sitting on The bench and table and playing card games as a family! We had one small issue with hot water and Keno fixed it immediately! Extremely responsive hosts and a great place to stay! Highly recommend!

Great Spot!

Everything was great. It was a short walk to the beach that was basically private as no one else was there. Ocean views and a great living/dining area with ocean views! Definitely recommend!

Perfection in Paradise

Our stay at Fair Winds in Exuma was amazing. The house and property are wonderful spaces to relax and enjoy the island life. From short walks down to the beach for incredible sunrises, to sitting on the porch to watch serene sunset, to perfect family meals around the big dining room table, everything was better than we could have hoped for. Kristin was the perfect host and gave us all the local tips on where to eat and what activities not to miss. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Lovely getaway

We spent a great month at Fair Winds. The house is attractive and very comfortable. We headed often to local beaches, did some bonefishing, found fun restaurants, and relaxed on the deck. The owners were very accommodating of our needs and local contact, Keno, helped with household requests and local recommendations. Love that hospitality!

Fabulous house!

Great place for us to stay on Exuma! Kristen was an exemplary host - she went above and beyond to make sure that we had all that we needed (and more) for our stay. House was perfect for our family of six - exactly as advertised. We appreciated havng a well-stocked kitchen as eating out is pricey in Exuma and we made a lot of meals oursevles. Would highly recommend!

We loved Fair Winds and couldn’t have asked for a more lovely place to stay on our first visit to Exuma. The location was perfect for us. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Owner left a lot of island info that was extremely helpful to us. Can’t wait to return!!

Beautiful property

The house & grounds are beautiful & well kept. The size was perfect for our family of 5 to sit, sleep & spread out. Central location to drive around the Island. Beach was very close but waves were bigger here during our stay, but our teenagers did not mind. Owner is very easy to Communicate with.

Exuma’s did not disappoint

Our Group had an awesome trip to the Exuma’s and Fair Winds was a great house and location for us to explore the entire island. We wanted a local experience and Fair Winds provided just that. Great vacation, great people and great house. We will definitely be back!!
