"It was kind of dirty, beds were uncomfortable, things were falling apart, trash in the backyard. The downstairs bedroom didn’t have privacy, the doors are glass, curtains would help. The stove was all faded so you couldn’t tell which burner you were turning on. The sitting area with crib mattresses was odd and not really useable. It was like sitting directly on the wood. "The property was very spacious. We did have issues with flies getting into the home from a huge gap in the front door, we had to stuff a towel in it to prevent flies from coming in. There were also huge flying roaches on the back patio so we weren't able to enjoy the outside. Lastly, neighbors dogs and cats barking and crying all night, didn't get much sleep. The house has a great layout with plenty of space. A shame we couldn't enjoy it more."

"The Cottage is in a nice location back off the shared drive. Cottage smelled like a wet dish rag. I believe due to the window unit having to run all day to keep the cottage cool. The shower is very small and allows very little room to turn around or get bottles off the shower floor. No storage to put items out of your way if you are staying longer than a couple days. We liked the location and the fact we felt secluded even though we were only a couple hundred feet from the closest house."

"The cabin was beautiful and peaceful. Great, private location yet close to grocery & convenience stores. Also not far from New Braunsfels & Gruene for great restaurants and shops. We loved the hot tub in the evenings as well as the grill & fire pit to use and enjoy. I highly recommend this little cabin for a quiet get away in the Hill Country and we will be returning in the future. "

The same problem in the bathroom, no space by the sink. We were expecting a fully equipped kitchen, as my husband likes to cook. We had to go out to eat daily.
