I would like to share our experience in this beautiful place with magical view! We are amazed how everything was so clean, the people are so welcoming and caring and our time here was absolutely amazing! We were also very touched by seeing that it was a potty left there for our little one. We couldn't ask for more!

We had a lovely stay here, all amenities were available, we came equiped assuming we would need everything but there are things left there for cleaning etc so you dont really need to take too much. Just replace what you use which is easier than what we did. Clear instructions from host in terms of keeping things clean, and keeping the temperature steady. Great location, the beach is very family friendly, theres a little cafe on the beach and a restaurant across the road. We used the place as a base to explore the region but theres plenty to do if you want to just relax and stay local too. Falmouth is a lovely little place to spend the days.

The Nook is a gorgeous little find, a beach front property that we were lucky to stay in for a week at the end of August. It truly is the best of both worlds, a fantastic beach with the most amazing food surrounding you. Not forgetting the peace and quiet.The property has everything you could wish to need and offers extreme comfort, not to mention the lovely front garden with excellent seating facing the beach. I adored the uniqueness of this property and found it to be so tranquil, the owner was always on hand to answer any questions or queries, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back to this little gem! Love Maggie & Family

Absolutely amazingly perfect from start to finish. It was simple to get into, even finding it wasnt to hard and the location is beyond beautiful.. its littery opposite the beach , so much so- that you can hear the waves crashing as you fall asleep through the window. The layout of the shack is perfext too, a kitchen with everything you could ever need. The recycling facilities are on top form too.

Mega Lage. Alles was man braucht. Super kurzer Weg zum Strand. Gute Ausstattung. Man wusste über die Besonderheiten wie eigenes Bettzeug etc. Bescheid. Daher alles gut. Ein sehr freundlicher und immer erreichbarer Vermieter. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Cute little stay!

Our stay at The Nook was really lovely! We stayed here for our holiday and we all had a very comfortable stay. The location was amazing, getting to be right be the beach was so wonderful and we enjoyed being able to see and hear the waves in the morning! The communication with the owner was also fab, they gave us all the information we needed and was super helpful. Thank you very much!

Little Gem

We chose the Love Shack because of it’s proximity to the beach, it is literally a stones throw away! It’s a very cute place to stay and whilst it’s not show house standard you know what you’re getting if you read the description!It’s a good base for exploring Cornwalls delights and you can walk to Falmouth if you’re so inclined. We loved our stay and have already recommended it to friends so if you want a no frills stay at a great price the Love Shack is what you’re looking for.

Fab family break

We had four nights here over Feb half term with a 7 and 4 year old. We loved rockpooling, exploring the caves & the beach cafe all literally a few steps from our door. Also enjoyed a trip into Falmouth for swimming pool & maritime museum. The chalet is as described and Hayden was very responsive to our needs. Thanks for a great trip.

The Shack was exactly as advertised. Small but comfortable. The owner was forthcoming with all relevent information and the place was perfect for investigating family history in Cornwall.

Winter weather stay

The property was pretty much as described and expected but its arms length management might mean it is less comfortable in extremes of weather. I had communications with the owner a week before our stay checking what the heating situation was as I had spotted cold nights on forcasts. I was reassured by the response but actually 2 (out of 4) of the heating units were non funcional on arrival. So 2 of our party experienced a cold night even with reasonable bedding taken. 2 electric heaters were found for our second night but they were far from ideal one being noisy and the other was halogen lighting up the bedroom but we could at least warm up the rooms before turning in. Extra nights were offered as compensation but travel arrangements meant we could not take advantage of this. Communication was very good but the checking of the property before letting was not good enough .

Just what we needed

Comfortable, well equipped and in a great location for visiting busy Falmouth and beyond, while still enjoying some quiet winter calm and beautiful Cornish walks and scenery. We had breakfast on the deck one morning; a real treat in November! Great communication before during and after our stay. Thank you!

A wonderful location, the children had the most magical time✨ Well equipped and the layout was perfect. The previous stay didn’t leave the property particularly clean but that is absolutely not the owners fault. We look forward to staying again next year ☺️
