Far too lovely

We loved our stay. Alberta is a brilliant, the breakfasts on the terrace overlooking English Harbour, swims in the pool and lounging in the hammocks it was all to die for.

Albert was an incredible host. Arca Villa is a beautiful place to stay, you have an incredible view of the Harbour and the pool area was perfect to relax by before heading out for the day.

Great location for visiting English Harbour. Good value and Alberta is very knowledgeable about the area. Had a wonderful 4 day stay:) . We would stay again.

The property was amazing the fresh made breakfast every morning was superb the owner was so helpful and had a lot of local knowledge and she made everyone welcome and got all the guests it eat breakfast together so if you where travelling a lone you felt part of something so my husband and I really recommend this and it was so good we’re going back very soon

The whole ambiance from the personal greeting of the owner/hostess Alberta to the views and decor make you feel like you have escaped to an island paradise more aligned with the South Pacific but is only 8-10minutes from English Harbor.

Great value and location

We loved our stay here. Sadly we only booked one night, but we wish we stayed longer. The room was well equipped and comfortable. The common areas including the patio and pool had gorgeous views of the harbor. Our host was lovely and breakfast was delicious. You can tell she really cares for the villa and guest experience. I would highly recommend for your stay in Antigua!

A beautiful home in a wonderful setting. Stunning vistas of the mountains and Falmouth harbour below. Easy drive to dozens of restaurants in historic English Harbour district, ranging from good to excellent. Alberta was a warm and welcoming host, and we enjoyed lovely breakfasts prepared by her on the terrace. Loved our stay and have already booked here for a week when we return to Antigua next year!

Great Stay!

Arca Villa was WONDERFUL - the views and the pool deck were such that I never wanted to leave, even to venture into town. Bathroom was lovely, comfortable and well appointed. People who are sensitive to early morning noise may prefer the west side of the villa (I am pretty sure my room was the only one to hear anything)

A really lovely B&B. Warm welcome. Fabulous views. Accommodation very comfortable. Nice pool. Delicious breakfast. Own transport definitely needed as it is very remote (up a steep hill!) with no shops or restaurants in walking distance. Great base for exploring Antigua.

Amazing Place!

Innkeeper/owner Alberta was awesome. Place is awesome with the views and amenities. We had high expectations from the pictures -- it was even better than expected! Hard to get here and around without a car though. Careful driving as roads are steep and not great conditions. Alberta has great recommendations and knowledge of the island having been here for over 21 years.

AMAZING!

Wow - what an incredible place. We've been lucky enough to travel frequently and this is one of the best places we have ever stayed. The pictures don't do it justice, the property itself is gorgeous and the view is fantastic over the hills. We loved waking up and sitting on the terrace with the sun rise, then taking a dip in the pool! Alberta was the most gracious and accommodating host, so helpful and happy to chat through things to do/places to eat locally and answer any questions we had. The breakfast was absolutely delicious too...we were very sad to leave! Thank you Alberta - we'll be back.

Highly recommended

A fantastic B&B! I didn't realise when I booked how close the house actually is English Harbour but every morning you get to have a delicious breakfast with the most breathtaking views. Having breakfast with the other guests was such a highlight as you can share tips and reviews with each other. The house itself is gorgeous (and massive) with a sophisticated Caribbean vibe, and the room is a good size as well. Alberta, the owner, is so lovely and wonderful and full of brilliant tips to help you make the most of your trip. I'd recommend this place to solos/couples looking for a calm sanctuary, with easy access to the nightlife in Shirley Heights and English Harbour.

Very welcoming host, fabulous room and property with superb views across Falmouth harbour and the yachts. Easy parking. Lovely indoor lounge area, outdoor balcony area and pool area for sitting and relaxing. Book swap available and a fridge in the kitchen specifically for guest use. Breakfast was just fabulous. We can find no faults or negative points. We would definitely go back to this little gem. Thank you Alberta.
