Beautiful location

Great stay! Had a couple issues the day of check in but the manager was incredibly accommodating and kind in helping to resolve them. Definitely would stay again!

Wonderful Place

Very quiet location on the lake. The cabin is well equipped and the host was very responsive. Fishing at the lake was fantastic, well stocked with fish.

Lovely getaway

We loved our stay. We really enjoyed the fishing. My wife and I caught 8 trout over the 2 days. Enjoyed the cool nights and foggy mornings. Place was clean and everything was in stock.

Lovely and peaceful

We were charmed by the cabin and landscaping and spent the majority of our time on the deck with the fire pit. The kayaks were perfect for a jaunt around the little lake. The neighbors were quiet and had lovely homes.

Beautiful property, very nice escape for a few days. I will note that the cabin is definitely a bit tighter than expected, but nothing that can't be managed. The heaters are genuinely such a comfort, especially in the bathroom. It does look like the wood ceiling is warping a little bit, freaked my partner and I out for a minute, but nothing to be concerned about, I don't think. Overall, very easy stay, little in the way of complaints. If you book through a third party, I don't believe the rental company will see your requests. I requested a bottle of wine and flowers be waiting at the property as it was our anniversary, and I just assume they didn't receive it. Stay here if you want to relax and take in some fresh air.

Peaceful and serene…..

This cottage was perfect! Located on a dead end street, so no traffic/car sounds. Plenty of amenities. Super comfortable bed, linens smelled great! I was in the Seattle area for work so invited a couple of friends/coworkers over in the early evening to enjoy the views of the lake. Did not take out the kayaks or the peddle boat although I wish I had. Only thing I couldn’t locate were the cushions for the dock seating, not a big deal as I was only there for two evenings. Would stay again and my friends are going to be referring this place to their visitors.

Peaceful Retreat

This cabin is the perfect size for a couple retreat. We loved feeling so far away but not far from anything. There is a pair of Eagles on the lake that fly back and forth between the trees. My only complaint is that it’s awkward to share amenity with the cabin next door. There are plenty of kayaks to share but when we were there they were all on one side. Would have loved to use the hammock but it was in front of the other cabin, which just felt too weird to use. Overall, a very relaxing, peaceful stay.

Amazing!!

Some places deserve 6 stars; this is one of them. Moonlight Cottage is on a beautiful quiet lake. The house is modern and clean. The furniture and bed were very comfortable. And the decor and styling is modern and beautiful. Outside, there is a fire pit overlooking the lake, two docks with kayaks and other water toys, and beautiful outdoor furniture. We loved sitting by a cracking fire while geese returned to the lake. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Our only criticism is that the property has two homes that are rented separately and the outdoor spaces are shared. This introduced a privacy concern and made us feel like we had to "claim our spot" for the evening. We would have preferred a space to call our own. Otherwise, a perfect space.

Nice enough but nothing to write home about.

I would equate this property to like a cute pair of shoes that you simply must have but wearing them for any length of time is not all that comfortable. The house is clean, updated, and provides most necessary things for your stay. It is on the small side so I can't imagine more than two people staying there. My biggest issue was the shared things outside...there are two homes available to rent on the same property. It is clearly stated in the description but actually "living" it is awkward, at best. The BBQ grill is not close to either property. Plus, who wants to see if it has or will be used by your neighbors, much less cross your fingers it was cleaned. Knowing this, we purchased a small table top grill to use. It was $150 from Costco and a very small expense for the owners to provide this convenience for their renters. Also, the kayaks, paddleboat, and inflatable canoe are all shared. Again, I didn't want to arrange my time around strangers. This may not bother some but it is not how we wanted to spend our vacation, worrying about infringing on other's or visa versa. This is stated in the description and yes, we rented it anyway but the reality of this prohibits us from renting this property again. The house is nice, the lake is beautiful, it is clean and well appointed....it may be your cup of tea. For us, not so much. If it is hot, there are no fans so bring your own. There is also a drip coffeemaker; the description says there is only a French Press.

A beautiful house and location. We enjoyed our evening on the comfortable lakeside deck. Our only problem was we couldn’t turn off the outdoor lighting as someone had jammed the control by putting the battery in wrong and we couldn’t fix it. This made for a rough night’s sleep with bright lights coming in the bedroom window. Everything else was wonderful.

Charming & Quiet

We had a lovely, relaxing weekend at this cottage. The water was calm and peaceful. While the weather was chilly, it couldn't take away from the beautiful scenery. Heating was excellent for when we got too cold. The outdoor lighting, and hidden speakers really rounded out the experience for us. The location is perfect. Secluded as if you're somewhere in the Cascades, but close to town for getting groceries and coffee. I can't wait to stay here again!

Wonderful place to stay

We really loved this cottage by the lake. You have everything you need inside the home for your stay and it is tastefully decorated. Tho owner thought of everything. Outside there are several places to sit and take in the view. Plus, they have provided kayaks and a paddle boat to play on the water. We loved this place and didn’t want to leave.
