Lovely property

Fantastic property with a large living and dining area on the ground floor. Large garden with lots of wildlife including rabbits and deer!Great location for exploring North Norfolk.I wouldn't hesitate booking this property again in the future.

Lovely stay in Thursford

Great spacious property with amble room for all. Perfect base to walk the North Norfolk costal path and visit many of the villages. Would certainly stay here again.

Lovely lodge and location

We had a lovely week stay with family. The lodge is clean, spacious and very well equipped. Situated in a peaceful location with lots of wildlife to see and great access to the North Norfolk coast.

Lovely winter break

Amazing location and property, it was incredibly clean and spacious yet cosy, communication with the owner was brilliant there were lots of lovely little touches at the property including fresh flowers and lots of games and a lovely big garden. Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our week and hope to return.

Fabulous country lodge with everything you could need. Well set up, spacious and comfortable. Spencer, the owner was available remotely to deal with any questions we had. Check-in was smooth and problem freeThe small problem we had was fixed promptly by Spencer, thank you.Easy access to Fakenham and the surrounding areas, an ideal location. Incredibly quiet and peaceful.Other guests comments on the small faults have been drawn to Spencer's attention and I am quite sure will be remedied. He is a responsible and helpful owner. We would definitely book to stay there again.

Good base for an interesting region

The house is exactly as described so suited our group well. Local area actually has some great places to visit - Langham Glass in Fakenham , the North Norfolk Railway not to mention the Thursford Collection virtually next door ! We divided our time between the garden and trips out (the seal watching was fabulous) . Good local restaurants too. Overall a really pleasing stay.

Great property and location

Location was perfect. House was lovely, very well equipped. Owner was very helpful recommending places to go. They also provided a slow cooker when we asked if the house has one. Hope to come back in the future

Everything we needed for a great holiday

We had a great stay at Sentinel Lodge. It was comfortable and we'll appointed with everything we needed and more - the children especially enjoyed playing with the animatronic dinosaur and on the trampoline and swings! It also had a great outdoor space and was well located for day trips to the beach. Thank you very much for the use of your lovely house.

Fantastic house

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was in a lovely location, the children got so excited seeing the wildlife in the garden. There was lots of room, and the set up of the rooms and bathrooms was fantastic. Great hosts and communication too. Will definitely return

Lovely house

A lovely house, in a lovely setting. We saw deer,pheasants,partridges and a hare in the garden. The house is well kitted out with everything you need. The rooms are large and bright. The beds are so comfortable. Would be happy to spend more holidays there!

Location and house overall nice

Nice peaceful location within easy driving distance of main attractions. Good size property, lots of space for large family to spread out, plus decent sized areas to relax or eat in the lounge and dining areas. Well equipped, including BBQ, extra fridge, garden games, and dvds etc. Only a few minor things in need of attention to make this swiss style chalet into a five star.

Perfect Location

Sentinel Lodge is an excellent place to stay with the family. Can't fault the inside or the outside. The big spacious downstairs and bedrooms are just perfect. The lodge is ideally placed for trips to the coast or other attractions that are nearby. If you need anything Spencer is an excellent host and will deal with anything straight away. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely quiet and peaceful stay, in this lovely house, everything you could possible need was available to use Including washing machine, children’s outside games. Excellent location for visiting all the lovely picturesque villages and coastlines along the Norfolk coast. If anything a negative, the downstairs shower room is in need of updating, upstairs is immaculate. Just another idea, is a sign as you come down north road to say turn right for lodges.

All the comments from people who stayed before us I can only retariate.House comfortable and spacious for seven.Garden for the children boys 9 and 11 brilliant,for grown ups very relaxing.Location ,,with car perfect. The communication with Spencer was 1st class,any thing that we told him wasn't quite righthe rectified immediatly. Für Deutscher familien die ein Urlaub im England antreten wollen,ich kann diesen Haus absolute rekemendieren.

Great cottage in a lovely quiet location

The property was big and fitted 7 in without everyone being on top of one another. The water was hot and plentiful for everyone and once the heater kicked in it was warm and toasty. We had a Muntjac deer and barn owls as guests and loved watching them in the garden and even got a glimpse of a baby deer. The only downside was the ensuite shower, as the showerhead needed replacing as it was a trickle. But other than that a great place to stay.

60th celebration

Location excellent for visiting several destinations. Property warm and has all facilities but is let down by its tired state. Sofas extremely uncomfortable which made it hard to relax together. Outside looked really untidy with outside lights not working. It is such a shame as the property has real potential but in need of attention throughout

Lovely House & Garden

Had lovely stay, inside sofas and beds/bedding needs updating. Showers dated and leaks repaired poorly and ugly. House would have been great around 3-4 years ago but for us the comfort factor wasn’t there sorry guys.
