We enjoyed this house with our large family. The ping-pong and firepit were used every day. The space was ample for everyone to stretch out. We were disappointed with the cleanliness (bed linens had to be rewashed upon our arrival and clothes were left soaking in the laundry room sink), but the owner was responsive to these issues. Overall, we had a positive experience.

It was a rainy weekend so we decided to only hike one day. We had such a great time hanging around the house, playing games and catching up that the weather did not bother us! The hot tub and fire pit made enjoying the outdoors special. The house was spacious and the rooms were really comfy. The please felt remote, but still convenient to the city and airport. We would definitely recommend anyone to enjoy a stay here!

We loved our stay here! The host was very helpful and communicative in advance to ensure we had all the information we needed to enjoy your stay. The beds were very comfortable, the entire house was tidy and clean, and the gameroom was a nice way to keep kids (and adults) occupied.

The location was close to all conveniences: grocery stores, clothes shopping and local arts and crafts. The game room and the Jacuzzi was so entertaining for my family. We rented the house for a wedding we were attending locally and it was a perfect place to come back and relax and be together as a family before during and after the wedding. I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect birthday retreat

We had an amazing time at this home! The kitchen was excellent for our group of 8 to cook a big dinner and just hang out in. We spent very night enjoying the hot tub. It was a short drive to downtown Asheville. All of us thought it would be an adorable place in winter too!

Bachelor Party in Fairview!

This was a great house for a group of friends! Plenty of room and beds. The hot tub and games in the garage were a great touch. Short drive to Asheville, we had no issues securing ubers or Lyfts. Definitely would recommend this to others visiting the area.

We had a wonderful time at Lazy Bear. This was our spring break family meet up. Our sons and their families live in different parts of the country so we were looking for a place central to all of us. This was a great spot near Asheville. The house was as advertised and probably one of the best we’ve stayed at for a group our size (10 adults, three children ages 7, 4, and 3). The kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy breakfast and supper together. We spent our days exploring the beautiful area. The bedrooms were comfortable and the game room provides options for all. Most importantly this home was pet friendly. We bring our dog with us everywhere and we are grateful for owners who support that. As other reviews have mentioned the driveway is steep but was expected for the area and everyone did fine once they were used to it. We had perfect weather and were able to visit sites in the area each day. It was located near many options and we did something different each day. We would definitely stay again if we visit Asheville.

Beautiful scenery

This was a beautiful place to stay. We really enjoyed the hot tub and ping pong. Only suggestion would be to upgrade the linens. The sheets and towels were scratchy and sheets wouldn't stay hooked on the mattress. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

Great Property

Our stay was great! We were able to get in earlier than expected! And everything was very clean! We had issues getting Ubers and the driveway was a little steeper than expected but overall we had a great trip and the home was perfect for our group!
