Perfect set-up for our two families (4 adults, 4 kids)! Kids, ages 9-15, played pool, darts, and bocce. We had everything needed to cook in (measuring spoons / cups, aluminum foil / parchment, spices, and quality pots & pans). Easy drive into Asheville. Beautiful home!

Lovely Home

My husband and I planned a quick getaway for a long weekend. The place was centrally located to many activities and places. Property came with so many different indoor and outdoor activities. We love to come back. Our only problem was the amount of pre-arrival paperwork and requirements. Other than that I would recommend.

Quiet Family Weekend

We had a great time at this house! The location is very private and quiet. Our kids (14, 11, 7) loved the swings under the deck...and of course the hot tub, bocce ball, (plastic) axe throwing, games and puzzles at the house. We used the grill and enjoyed being on the upper deck level. This kitchen was one of the best stocked VRBO's we have stayed at, and I appreciated all the "starter" items like soaps, paper towels, laundry detergent, etc. etc. Everything was VERY clean. The Yonder maintenance contact (Chad) was very responsive and patient with us - thank you!! My only recommendation is to have the team turn on the hot tub before guest arrival - ours was at 78, so we couldn't use it until the second day. That said, we would definitely stay there again.

This place was perfect, the layout, the incredibly comfortable beds / mattresses, fire pit , bocce ball court, kitchen, cleanliness, there was no flaw… one of the nicest homes we’ve stayed in , in relation to detail and quality. We loved it !

The Perfect House!

Our family met in Asheville for a holiday get together. I wanted a house that would feel like home for our adult kids. This house more than exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was so well stocked, the game room was fantastic, and the layout of the house was so comfortable. It was a great location for our plans to visit Biltmore and spend time in downtown Asheville. We absolutely were so happy with our stay in this great home. We will definitely look to stay here again. Thanks for helping make our Christmas get together the best!

Amazing and Comfortable

This home had everything we needed! Kitchen was perfect! Very comfortable for a multi-generational family gathering! Thanks for the congratulatory bottle of champagne for our UNCA graduate! Fabulous!

This house was awesome! The beds and linens were super comfy and we had plenty of room to spread out. Everything is there for your enjoyment including a fireplace, fire pit, pool table, games, right down to skewers for making s’mores! Asheville is only a few minutes away, also went to Whistle Hop Brewery, right down the road. Super convenient to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and if you can make a trip to the Arboretum. Pizza, BBQ, and stores very close too. I forgot to check on the brand of mattress, I want one! This is a great house.!

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at the Crooked Maple Cottage! We had 7 adults, and there was plenty of room for all of us. The house was super clean and had everything we needed. I appreciated the hand soap, laundry detergent, passer towels, etc that were at the house! The back yard is beautiful and is a great spot for a fire. It probably took us about 20 minutes to get to downtown Ashville. We went on the Blue Ridge Highway and had a nice hike on the way. We loved the art center that was close to the Visitor’s Center. We enjoyed the Biltmore and had fun hiking at Chimney Rock State Park. There is a bit of noise from the street that you can hear while sleeping. It was such a lovely stay. Thank you!! Hope to be back again!

A must stay at property!

This house was amazing. Incredible layout, plenty of activities, easy to get to & a great location. A couple of breweries close by, only 20 minutes to get to downtown Ashville and the Biltmore. I will book the same house when I return to Ashville next time and will not waste a single second looking at other options. An absolute must see property if you're going to Ashville!

Cottage Getaway

Crooked Maple Cottage was the perfect property for our weekend getaway in Asheville, with 6 people total, including one couple. The unit was super spacious, with plenty of room for everybody and comfortable sleeping accommodations. The decks and outdoor spaces provided the opportunity to enjoy beautiful weather and great views. And the unit was tastefully decorated throughout. There was easy access to downtown Asheville (~20 min drive), with breweries in Fairview and grocery stores and local farms close by. But the property had everything we needed to enjoy days and nights in as well, with a large game room, decks, hot tub and fire pit, and a kitchen with everything needed to cook delicious meals. I couldn't recommend this property highly enough!
